The most important thing to know about vaginal yeast infection
symptoms is that they are "nonspecific." This means that it is not
possible to use the symptoms alone to make a diagnosis, because the
symptoms can be caused by organisms other than yeast. You'll see why
that's important later in this article.
The most common symptoms of a vaginal yeast infection (yeast
vaginitis) are:
Itching and burning in the vagina and vulva.
Soreness, swelling and pain around the vulva.
Pain during intercourse or urination.
Vaginal discharge. This discharge is not always present, but if there
is a discharge it will be odorless or smell like baker's yeast, and
usually has a whitish, thick appearance.
It seems simple enough, doesn't it? In fact, most women who have
these symptoms naturally assume they have a yeast infection caused by
our old friend Candida albicans, so they run down to the drugstore
for a non-prescription medication to make it go away.
Unfortunately, studies have shown that as much as two-thirds of the
non-prescription medications sold for yeast infections are purchased
by women who don't have a yeast infection.
That means if you diagnose your condition with the symptoms alone,
you could end up treating the wrong condition.
Treating yourself with antifungal medication when you don't have a
yeast infection can be harmful for two important reasons:
1. The most obvious reason is that the microbe or parasite that you
really have won't be cured by an antifungal medication, and it could
get worse if it isn't treated. The symptoms of microbial infections
can disappear after a short time on their own, so you may think your
antifungal treatment worked even though the underlying infection is
still there. This matters a great deal for two reasons:
Because some common microbial infections can cause permanent damage
to your reproductive organs.
Because some common home remedies are able to force a microbial
infection up past the cervix where it can do the most harm.
2. The second reason has long-term health benefits, and it's so
important that I tend to repeat it fairly often in my new book,
called Your Yeast Infection - Everything You Need to Know. Whenever
you use an antifungal medication when you don't need to, your
resident yeast population can evolve (mutate) to deal with the
threat. This can make your yeast drug-resistant, and your next real
yeast infection will then be much more difficult to treat.
Effective medications for yeast infections are available without a
prescription, and many home remedies work just fine if the infection
is mild enough - so treating your infection yourself is a reasonable
thing to do. But diagnosing your infection based only on the common
yeast infection symptoms is not a good idea. Make an appointment with
your health professional,
instead.

Maybe you've heard about yeast infection in women, or maybe you got
here through a series of articles that pointed you in this direction.
Regardless, this is hardly even talked about anywhere - and even for
those who know it, Candidiasis A.K.A. yeast infection, probably never
came across as something that men are vulnerable to.
Yeast infection in man is not a joke. It may be one of the most
common causes of vaginal irritation, and it may be something only
talked about on Berman & Berman (a women health show). But it
isn't funny once you know what will happen to you when you get it.
Sure, it does seem funny when people find out that you've gotten what
would otherwise be associated with women only. I mean, you'd be
associated with the wives who're always teased about at the men-only
gatherings. And more often than not, you'd lose some of your self-
esteem.
As if having a disease associated with women on your most sensitive
area isn't enough, penile yeast infection brings along a whole myriad
of awful symptoms that have brought people to their knees - wishing
their penis would just drop off. Yes, it can become THAT terrible.
Spread the word - yeast infection in man is VERY real and no, the
Candida fungus does not choose its victims based on gender. Once you
understand that all it needs is a place that is moist and warm, it
doesn't look like a woman's disease anymore. Any part of your body
that holds those conditions can get a yeast infection, including your
mouth.
Letting your friends read this article if you have Candidiasis may be
a good thing, at least before you let them know about your ailment.
It's something they have as much a chance of contracting as with any
other man. It may even lead some to discover that they actually have
it too. See them scramble for yeast infection prevention methods and
medication, especially when they've been confidently putting their
wieners into contact with their infected wives.
So the answer to whether man can get yeast infection is clearly a yes.
Yeast infection in man is something you'd want to get this fixed as
soon as possible if you have it; and thankfully, there are options
available. After which, you should still take measures to prevent it
from recurring, such as a yeast infection
diet.

Educating yourself about your candida infection is the first and most
important step in curing this painful, annoying and relatively
dangerous chronic condition and taking responsibility over your
health and well-being.
Although yeast infection (known by the names of Candida, Monilia or
Thrush) is in fact a very common condition, (as three out of four
women develop it at some point in their lifetimes), it is little
discussed. Most people regard candida infection as a 'on the surface'
problem that should be treated with creams and antibiotics whereas
few are aware of its potentially risky complications.
Yeast Infection is first and foremost an internal problem. Like most
chronic conditions, there is never one cause for this fungal problem
and thus yeast infection cannot be permanently eliminated using
medications or creams that work superficially and fail to tackle the
root factors that trigger the formation of candida infection in the
first place.
The problem is that the majority of yeast infection sufferers choose
to leave it in the hands of others: Doctors, pharmacists, drug and
over the counter industries. They willingly choose NOT to take
responsibility for their candida condition, for their health and for
their own body.
If you suffer from yeast infection then you must have experienced the
confusion stemmed from conflicting advice and from information
overload. Honest information about vaginal yeast infection or any
other type of candida infection is harder to come by than ever
before, and nearly everyone has been misled at one time or another. I
know I have. I wasted literally thousands of dollars on candida
treatment programs that didn't "work out" and anti-yeast infection
products that didn't do anything.
Furthermore, to successfully navigate through today's jungle of
misleading, dishonest and conflicting information, you're going to
have to become a very shrewd and discriminating consumer.
There are in fact, alternative, cheap, safe, natural and holistic
health practices and methods necessary to permanently eliminate the
symptoms of this disease and cure the root internal cause of yeast
infection regardless of its type, location, or level of severity.
To effectively overcome candida infection, you need to be aware of
the real cause of yeast infection and be able to identify its
symptoms. You need to know how to self-test and diagnose your candida
condition, learn about the dietary principals needed to maintain a
candida free environment and about the complimentary treatments that
will help you battle against the negative effects and complications
of your yeast infection.
By educating yourself about the steps you need to take in order to
deal with your candida infection condition and help your body heal
itself and control the fungal overgrowth from the inside out you can
and will eliminate the pain, annoyance, humiliation and frustration
associated with this condition and feel more in control.
Additionally, as a side benefits you'll feel more energized,
healthier and vibrant. You will enjoy improved digestion, enhanced
vision, and healthier hair, skin and nails.
Knowledge is power. Embrace it. Share it and apply it and you will be
yeast infection
free.

The vexatious symptoms of a yeast infection are surely familiar to a
lot of women (and to some men, too). A more appropriate statement,
perhaps, is that yeast infection itself is too common as not to be
known by most women and men of today. And what proof can lend
credence to these statements, you may ask? Visit your local drugstore
(without a doubt, you have done so countless times) and check its
shelves. You will certainly find they're lined and loaded with
different brands of both over-the-counter treatments and prescription
medicines. Add to this the relatively huge amount of money that
people spend each year to have their yeast infection treated.
The bacterium Candida albicans is identified as the main cause of
almost all yeast infections. From small numbers, these microorganisms
can multiply quickly, aided by any one of the following: the use of
certain synthetic medicinal substances such as antibiotics, mental
tension, or impairment of the immune system. The undeterred growth of
Candida can lead to such annoying or discomforting symptoms as
vaginal discharge, itching, redness, and even pain during physical
sexual contact.
Treatments for yeast infections vary in ways or methods, or in the
types of medications available. Over-the-counter treatments come in
different forms: ovules, suppositories, and ointments or creams.
Convenience is often the reason why many people choose over-the-
counter medications to treat their yeast infection. But using these
products repeatedly may pose some risks. For example, an infection
may develop resistance to a particular treatment and will no longer
respond to it no matter how often you apply the same.
Even some prescription medicines present drawbacks as in the case of
oral fluconazole which doctors don't prescribe to an expectant or a
breastfeeding mom as it is known to cause side effects. Another
argument is that most of the over-the-counter and prescription
medications are known to treat only the symptoms of yeast infections.
They have not shown any positive effects at treating their root
cause. This is the reason why someone who might have thought she had
herself healed already may discover a few weeks later that the pesky
infection is back to bother her even worse than before.
And what about douches?
Doctors discourage women from using these products as their efficacy
against yeast infections remains a question to them.
Experts are one in saying that yeast infections are highly treatable.
But the key is in finding the right type of treatment - one that will
deal with the infection at its root cause and eliminate it
permanently. Wouldn't it be a relief to know there are actually a few
natural treatments that can prevent yeast infections from ever
recurring? These natural treatments don't just mask the symptoms of
yeast infections. They have been proven to attack yeast infections at
their root cause, so recurrence is no longer possible.
Wouldn't it be a relief to know there are actually a few natural
treatments that don't just mask the symptoms of yeast infections but
rather attack their root cause and prevent them from ever recurring?

What is yeast?
The yeast is a type of fungus. Yeast is commonly occurs on human skin
and on the dank areas, like the mouth and vagina. In fact, up to 20%
of women normally have yeast in the vaginal area.
The Yeast Infection Causes
Since we are talking about the yeast infection its must be mentioned
that there is no a specific cause of yeast infection, there are many
like simple stress in life, hormonal changes and transference through
sexual intercourse.
1. Stress: Living under stress for long time can and will change your
hormones around and this sometimes can cause a yeast infection.
2. The hormonal change is a key factor in the cause of yeast
infection of pregnant or lactating women, and women who are
menopausal. The same applies before and after menstruation cycles as
this also promotes a significant hormonal upheaval.
3. Take antibiotics is one of the causes of yeast infection. This
includes, if the overuse of antibiotics, and even normal usage of
antibiotics. In brief, antibiotics are taken to kill off any bad
bacteria in your body.
4. The most common cause of yeast infection for men is through sexual
intercourse with an affected woman with yeast infection. This
includes oral sex as well as vaginal sex.

knowing that they have it, but there are some signs for this
infection that can help you to know that it is a yeast infection what
you are suffering from.
1. Itching.2. Discharge - usually is an odorless white thick cottage
Cheese-like discharge.3. Burning sensation around the effected

Natural yeast infection remedies have gained much popularity in
recent years to cure yeast infection. People seems to have caught on
the health bug and are turning more and more to natural remedies for
answers to their illnesses. It is not difficult to understand since
most over-the-counter medications and drugs are rarely without side
effects. Yeast infection is a condition that could rebound, and more
are starting to look towards natural yeast infection remedies for
permanent solutions.
We will look at some self-care tips before disclosing several
effective natural yeast infection remedies that we can use.
Self-Care To Prevent Yeast Infection
1. Foods to avoid
Some foods encourage yeast growth such as alcohol, caffeine, junk
foods, processed foods, sugar, products containing wheat and white
flour, margarine, milk and dairy products.
2. Personal Care
a. Refrain from sharing common bath area such as pools, baths and
other public areas where full immersion takes place. This is so as to
avoid exposure.
b. Use a condom during sexual intercourse. Remember to read the label
and avoid those with nonoxynol-9 lubricant.
c. Cut down on usage of personal care products such that carry a
scent like perfumes, sanitary pads, body sprays and tampons as they
destroy the good bacteria that kills yeast.
d. Avoid wearing tight clothing and undergarment as they are poor
ventilators of body heat. A warm and moist environment encourages
yeast infection to spread. Switch to cotton clothing if you can.
Useful Natural Yeast Infection Remedies
1. Garlic
Garlic has strong antifungal properties and is a natural yeast
killer. Wrap the garlic in either a piece of cheesecloth or gauze and
insert the small pouch into the infected vagina overnight. The
infection would die after a few applications. But make sure you are
not allergic to garlic.
2. Yoghurt
Yoghurt has many uses other for consumption as a health snack. One of
them is to eradicate yeast. It contains lactobacillus acidophilus
which produces hydrogen peroxide, an antibacterial. Use plain, non-
sugared yoghurt as a topical medication on the infected vulva and
vagina for healing. Eating yoghurt also helps!
3. Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil has been used widely in some parts of the world. It is
recognized as one of the best natural yeast infection remedies. Using
a tampon coated with a lubricant before adding a few drops of tea
tree oil, it becomes a potent yeast infection cure.
There are many more useful and safe natural yeast infection remedies

You can consider using a colon cleanse to treat your candida yeast
infection. Candida yeast infection is a very common affliction. You
may be surprised to find out that you actually have some candida in
your system, and a small amount is a beneficial part for balance of
your body. Problem begins when the candida gets out of control and
symptoms start to manifest because of the excess growth. Symptoms can
range from digestive disorders to joint pain and you may not be even
realize that they are the result of a candida yeast infection. A
candida yeast infection can also affect your ability to think
clearly. Hence, it is important that you look for ways to treat a
candida yeast infection.
Candida is like a natural antibiotic which keeps harmful bacteria
from getting out of control. However, an overgrowth can produce
problems such as constipation, immune dysfunction, food
allergies, 'brain fog', chronic fatigue, indigestion, itchy eyes,
sinus problems, unexplained weight fluctuations, toe and fingernail
fungus, muscle and joint pain, thrush, abdominal pain, rashes,
menstrual irregularities, depression and even hair loss and reduced
sex drive.
An overproduction of candida can be caused by the use of antibiotics,
ingestion of chlorine while swimming, diabetes mellitus,
immunosuppressive drugs, radiation, or a disease such as cancer or
HIV. Regardless of the cause, you can treat a candida yeast infection
by taking some appropriate actions. Candida is a mold that starts in
the colon. It can spread to other parts of your body. However, since
it is generally in the digestive system, the most common symptoms are
in the digestive tract.
Constipation is usually one of the symptoms because the necessary
and 'friendly' bacteria in your digestive system are overrun by
candida. Therefore, your food is not properly digested. A candida
infection also feeds off of the nutrients and energy from the food
you consume, and robbing you of them. As the candida yeast infection
feeds off of your food, it also produces waste that is toxic to your
body; thereby causing several problems.
A colon cleanse to treat a candida yeast infection, or to prevent
one, can be easily made with the use of bowel cleansing herbs. The
colon cleanse will help remove the overgrowth in yeast and keep your
system clean again. After cleaning your system, you would have to
take preventative steps to prevent further problems. This means
refraining from drinking chlorinated water, avoiding antibiotics as
much as you can, and not consuming refined sugars and flour for a
period of time. Giving your body a break from unhealthy foods and
drugs provides your body an opportunity to heal from your
infection.

Recognizing the symptoms of vaginal yeast infection is actually quite
easy. Although, there are other conditions, such as bacterial
vaginosis, trichomoniasis, some sexually transmitted diseases, or a
reaction to various vaginal products where conditions and symptoms
can be similar; usually a women will know when a vaginal infection is
developing.
Symptoms will begin to appear when the balance between the normal
microorganisms of the vagina is lost. This imbalance occurs when the
environment of the vagina allows the disproportionate growth of the
fungul organism Candida albicans. Candida albicans is the fungal
organism that is the most common cause of vaginal infection.
Some of the most common, and easily recognizable symptoms of vaginal
yeast infection are as follows:
* Abnormal vaginal discharge ranging from a white, slightly watery
discharge, to a white thick chunky discharge similar to the
consistency of cottage cheese
* Vaginal and labial itching, and burning that can often be quite
severe
* Redness and inflammation of the skin surrounding the labia (the
opening of the vagina)
* Pain during intercourse
* Pain, discomfort, or a burning sensation during urination
If you are experiencing these symptoms, there is a good chance you
have a vaginal infection. If for any reason you are uncertain, visit
your gynecologist, or health professional for an accurate diagnosis.
A pelvic examination will be performed that may show the inflammation
of the skin of the vulva, inside the vagina, and on the cervix. The
examination may also show to the examiner, dry white plaque on the
vaginal wall.
An additional test called a "vaginal smear," may also be taken. This
is a test for vaginitis that involves a microscopic evaluation of the
vaginal discharge. Vaginitis is an infection of the vagina that does
not include the urinary tract.
While it is true that mild cases of vaginal yeast infection may, in
fact, go away by themselves; it is never wise to take that fact for
granted. Should normal efforts of self-medication such as
nonprescription vaginal medications offer no relief, your persistent
symptoms must be evaluated by your gynecologist.
It is also important to keep in mind that self-administered "home
treatment" will not be effective should you be pregnant, have a
sexually transmitted disease, or if your vaginal yeast infection
symptoms are the result of a recurrent infection.

Not all foods are good parrot foods. It has often been said that
parrots can eat just about anything that we humans can eat, this is
just not the truth. It would be a wise decision, to forget that what
tastes good to you must also taste good for your parrot. Many foods
are just unable to be digested well by the parrot and may lead to an
upset gastrointestinal tract. There are also many foods that are
poisonous to some birds.
Some of the things that you should try to avoid feeding your bird in
large amounts is anything that contains high amounts of sugar (if
however you have a Lory, it's okay as it is a bird species that
normally consumes a lot of sugar). Sugar tends to help the growth of
yeast, which can be troublesome to your parrot. A yeast infection is
a common ailment which can appear around the mouth and the
gastrointestinal tract in your bird. By not supplying your bird with
a large amount of sugar you will therefore reduce the chance of this
infection. Despite this, if your parrot happens to get a yeast
infection, you should go to your veterinarian and follow their
instructions.
Another product to look out for our milk products, these are also not
good to feed to your birds in large amounts. Milk also contains
sugar, which is known as lactose. This is a problem as birds cannot
digest it and means that the sugar sits in the gut where it for
ferments, which can lead to a nasty case of diarrhoea.
Two more products that you should never give your bird are avocado
and chocolate. There have been reported deaths due to these foods
being fed to one's bird. However, for some strange reason, bird
owners have been known to feed their birds avocado and chocolate
without any ill effect. We are not sure why these two products can
affect different bird so drastically, but how advise would be not to
take the chance, I mean do you really want to play Russian roulette
with your
bird?

remedy for yeast infection.
It is a common thing to hear yeast infections occurring in women, but
this almost seems like a myth in males. However, even men contract
yeast infection (candidiasis) and they should be equally informed
about this issue the same rate women are.
Although it can be sometimes transmitted sexually by an inflicted
woman to an unaffected male, yeast infection is not categorized under
sexually transmitted diseases, such that not all males who contract
it via sexual intercourse do so in all cases. The same Candida
species (Candida albicans) though, that cause the infection in women
are the same ones involved in men. It is thus, sometimes recommended
by doctors to have a man get checked as well if his partner has yeast
infection.
Another cause of male yeast infection is the use of condoms that are
lubricated with the spermicide, nonxynol-9. Research links the said
spermicide to the development of yeast infections in both men and
women.
However, not all male yeast infections are contracted from sexual
intercourse. There are yeast infections in males that are found in
other parts of the body such as the mouth (oral thrush), ears,
digestive tract and skin. These may occur due to external factors
including medications, illness and lifestyle. A diet high in sugar -
a substance that yeasts feed on - is one. Overconsumption of alcohol,
particularly beer, may contribute to a yeast infection since beer is
both high in yeast and glucose. In this light, diabetes mellitus can
also be a cause, especially if the blood sugar is left unmanaged.
Smoking is also said to put persons at an increased risk for oral
thrush.
Excessive use of antibiotics can kill good bacteria in the body and
lead to an exaggerated multiplication of yeasts. Other conditions
that render a man's immune system weak (making him
immunocompromised), such as chronic steroid use, chemotherapy,
HIV/AIDS and kidney transplant may provide favorable conditions for
yeast to invade the body uncontrollably.
Signs and symptoms include redness, soreness and an itching sensation
on the penis, especially the penile head. In some cases the condition
may present with tiny blisters with red, itchy bumps. There may also
be a white, cheesy discharge that smells of yeast. These may resemble
the clinical presentation of some sexually transmitted diseases and
so should any of these manifest, it is advisable to see a doctor to
immediately.
Clinical manifestations of oral thrush on the other hand include
slightly raised, "cottage-cheese" white lesions in the gums, inner
cheeks, tongue, and tonsils and back of the throat. These are painful
and may bleed if accidentally scraped by a brush. Cutaneous yeast
infections signs and symptoms include cracked skin, itchy, red rashes
and painful lesions that are sometimes accompanied with pus. Systemic
infections are rare.
Male candidiasis is easily treated especially if given prompt
attention. Physicians usually prescribe over-the-counter topical
antifungal creams especially for infections on the penis. These are
applied on the affected area twice daily for a week or two. Examples
are Miconazole (Monistat) and Clotrimazole (Lotrimin, Mycelex). Oral
preparations may also be available like Fluconazole (Diflucan). In
the case of oral thrush, antifungals are given in tablets, lozenges,
liquids or ointment.
However many men do find the chemical methods of treating a yeast
infection can be quite harsh on the body, especially their skin.
There are many very effective natural methods out there for treating
yeast infections, which are far more gentle on the body and often
more effective also.
Yeast infections are one type of nasty infection, that you can really
do without. With this in mind, it is usually something that you would
rather personally take care of in the comfort of your own home,
rather than heading to the doctor. So what type of home yeast
infection remedies are available to cure yeast infections at home?
1. Buy plain yogurt and make sure it has "Active Cultures" listed on
the container. Take a tampon, dip it into the yogurt and then insert
it into the vigina for at least an hour. You can leave it in there
longer if you wish. Repeat this once or twice a day for 2 - 3 days,
or until you get rid of the infection. This should help you get rid
of the bad bacteria that cause the infection, by replacing it with
the good bacteria contained in yogurt.
2. You can also dab apple cider vinegar regulary in the infected
areas. When using this home yeast infection remedy, you can use
garlic to relieve the itchy feeling and a little water to dilute the
concentration of vinegar.
3. Also try, drinking at least two glasses of buttermilk a day, this
is regardless of whether you are infected or not. In fact it has been
proven that daily intake of curds can drastically reduce the
probability of getting yeast infections.
4. Another home yeast infection remedy you can use, is a mixture of
olive leaf extract with grafefruit seed extraction with a glass of
water. This is what we would call a reliable curative tonic for yeast
infections.
5. Last but definetely not least, you can get some boric acid from
your local pharmacy and fill two gelatin 00 caps with it. Insert into
the vagina for 7 - 10 days and this should also get rid of the
infection.
As you can see, there are several home yeast infection remedies or
cures you can try. Some may work better for you than others, so you
might want to try as many as you possibly can to see what works for
you.
A yeast infection is an infection that is very common. Most people
associate a these infections with women, but in fact it is common in
both men and women alike. It is estimated that more than seventy five
percent of all women have experienced at least one of these bad
things in their life.
A fungus that is naturally produced in our bodies causes a yeast
infection. Bacteria that are also naturally produced by the body
regulate the growth of the fungus. The balance between the fungus and
the bacteria is easily upset, when this happens, a yeast infection
develops.
There are many different things that can upset the natural balance of
the body. When antibiotics are taken for long periods of time, it can
cause the body to become unbalanced and one of those can develop.
Antibiotics can also destroy the good bacteria in the body that
regulates the fungus. When the Ph levels in the body are out of
balance it can also cause this nasty infection.
For those who have had one, the yeast infection symptoms are
recognizable.
The pain and itching, along with the discharge and swelling can be
maddening. Waiting for an appointment for a diagnosis can seem like a
year when in fact it is usually only a couple of days.
The most common type of treatements are with anti fungal creams.
Waiting for relief from the discomfort of a yeast infection can seem
unbearable. These creams usually take between one to seven days to
completely clear up the affected area. It is important to follow your
instructions from your doctor to avoid a re-occurrence.
There are some steps that you can take to minimize your risk of
contracting or developing symptoms.
Diet is very important for a number of health reasons. For a yeast
infection, avoid eating large amounts of yeast breads, cakes, and
especially beer. All of these have a high yeast content that can
throw your body out of whack.
If you love to swim, that is great. It is good health exercise. The
important thing to remember is to change out of your wet bathing suit
as soon as possible, as it can easy cause an infection.
Another thing that is important to staying on the clear side is to
wear underwear that has a cotton crotch. A thong or G-string does not
allow airflow.
Every woman has douched, it is important to remember not to use
water. This can cause an imbalance and cause a painfully itchy yeast
infection. When you find that perfect pair of jeans that you cannot
live without, consider how tight they are. If they are too tight,
pass on them. Studies have proved that clothes that are too tight
will do more than just make you look good.
Yeast infections are horrible and nasty, and they are quite
preventable. By taking the necessary precautions, you need never
suffer from the affects of this pesty disease again.
This is a question that is usually asked by women who are suffering
from their first yeast infection, and are having trouble curing it.
And then you get the small percentage of women who ask how long their
yeast infection will last without treating it. This article explains
both scenarios.
If you're suffering from your first yeast infection, and you're
wondering how long it will last without treatment, it will last
forever. The mutated Candida yeast is a fungus that burrows its way
into your skin, and than feeds off of the cells of your body. The
longer it's left, the deeper it gets, and then it will be more
difficult to cure.
If this is happening in your intestines then the Candida fungus will
soon perforate your intestines which then allow toxins ( given off by
the Candida ) to enter your bloodstream. Your symptoms will become
more widespread then, and include...
Aching muscles and jointsMemory lossConcentration problemsRecurrent
yeast And many more
If you're trying to cure your yeast infection and it hasn't been
cured within a week you should first go back and see your doctor.
Your doctor can make sure you have no obvious health problems. Health
conditions such as diabetes and hormone imbalances can cause
recurrent yeast infections.
Once the doctor has made sure you have no health problems you then to
find the real cause of your yeast infection yourself. Your vaginal
yeast infections symptoms are just a sign that something else is
wrong. And while you're continually treating this one symptom the
cause is not being dealt with.
The main cause for stubborn yeast infections is antibiotic use.
Antibiotics kill all your bodies natural defences against bacterial
infections, and they also weaken your immune system. Antibiotics will
wipe out all your body's friendly bacteria that is there to fight off
other pathogens like the mutated Candida yeast.
If you have used antibiotics a lot in the past then this could be the
reason you have a stubborn yeast infection, and you have a big chance
of having an intestinal yeast infection. If this is the case then
your yeast infection could take anywhere between a few weeks and a
few months to cure. In extreme cases of intestinal yeast infections
it can take over a year, but this will depend on the individual, and
how strict they are with their anti Candida protocol.
The quicker you discover the real cause of your yeast infection the
faster you will get your health back.
5% of women will suffer from recurrent yeast infections at some time
in their lives. Some of these women are plagued with yeast infections
for years. What these women don't realize is treating the symptoms of
a yeast infection is not the answer as this approach only makes their
yeast infection worse. This is the quickest way to create a drug
resistant yeast infection.
When you're suffering from recurrent yeast infections it's easy to go
out and purchase another anti-fungal treatment just for the relief of
the ever increasing itching and soreness. By applying the over the
counter anti fungal treatment on a regular basis you're now creating
a drug resistant Candida yeast and that is what is making the itching
and soreness worse.
The yeast has mutated into a fungus, and it will continue to mutate
to fight off the treatment. The treatment that is suppose to kill the
yeast is now making the yeast stronger.
To successfully cure recurrent yeast infections you have to attack
them from the cause which is not inside of your vagina. This itching
and soreness is just a symptom of an underlying cause. The cause is
something only you can find out with the help of someone who knows
why the usually harmless Candida Albicans yeast mutates into its
fungal form.
The most common reasons for the Candida to mutate are a health
problem, very poor diet, a weak immune system or a medication you may
have been taking. Once you discover the cause you will be on your way
to ridding your body of the mutated Candida yeast.
If you're suffering from recurrent yeast infections it's important
you see your doctor to rule out any underlying health problems. These
can range from a weak immune system to you suffering from something
as serious as HIV/AIDS.
Once all health problems have been ruled out you can use a process of
elimination to find the cause of your Candida overgrowth. This
shouldn't take long with the correct information.
Waiting for a child is one of the most amazing things in life.
Unfortunately it does come with its problems. Even if you have never
had a yeast infection the hormonal changes during that period is
often more than enough to have a yeast infection pregnancy.
As I wrote earlier the hormonal changes during this period plays a
major role. These changes are so drastic that it can create an
imbalance in the woman's body therefore leading the yeast to produce
Candida Albicans bacteria.
You see Candida Albicans bacteria needs dark places which are moist
and humid to survive. So knowing that you can clearly see why the
vagina is one of the best places for a yeast infection to occur.
Yeast infections are also known to occur in the mouth, the armpit and
between the toes.
The major point that makes the yeast infections pregnancy a good
state of being for the Candida Albicans bacteria to develop is this:
Under normal condition the bacteria lives in the vagina in small
group numbers. But due to the hormonal changes during the pregnancy
these small numbers can grow exponentially overthrowing the good
bacteria.
Another important factor is that during the pregnancy the immune
system of the woman is weakened to allow the foetus to grow unharmed
within the womb. As a side effect yeast infection symptoms can occur
and sometimes more than once.
If you suffer from yeast infections pregnancy recurring symptoms then
you might consider having a doctor check it out.
Another important fact to be aware of if you suffer from yeast
infection pregnancy is you sexual partner. Most of the time you can
get your partner infected and then get it again if does not treat it.
So always make sure you treat yourself and your partner if you
suspect him to be infected too.
VERY IMPORTANT: Concerning yeast infections pregnancy treatments. You
should always consult before using any treatment. You need to make
sure the treatment poses no treat to the development of the foetus or
won't cause you to go into premature labour. This is also true for
natural or herbal remedies even subscription.
If you are near term and intend to breast feed you should follow your
yeast infection pregnancy very closely. You see Breast feeding also
takes its toll on your hormonal system. The solution would be to live
a healthy lifestyle to prevent your yeast infection pregnancy to
continue pas your pregnancy.

In you happen to be lost in Bulgaria, go to the nearest pub and order
a keg of their famous breast-boosting beer. European men are
reportedly crazy about Boza which they bring home to their wives and
girlfriends because of its alleged breast enhancing abilities. The
millet ale is made from fermented wheat flour and yeast.
"I've bought a case for my wife to try out. I really hope to see an
improvement," said Constantin Barbu, a customer who came all the way
from Romania.
"I have heard of Boza but it was so expensive before. Now that the
taxes are gone I'm going to start offering the drink to my
customers," added Klaus Schmidt of Austria who owns a ski resort in
Schladming.
Still a minor and can't drink beer? Here's the next best thing. The
Wine Rack is a stealth beverage system that allows you to carry your
favorite drink in your bra. This ingenious device can turn your A cup
into a double D (depending on how much beverage you can carry) and
allows you to share your drink with family or friends.
"This is probably the smartest thing I have heard of in my life for a
woman trying to catch a man's attention. The Wine Rack allows you to
store your beer or wine in a bra-type undergarment. Get lots of male
attention for your gorgeous engorged rack and offer any fellow you
are keen on a nice beverage too," said one reviewer in
InventorSpot.com.
For the coach potato who can't leave the TV set, I have the perfect
companion: F-Cup cookies. These Japanese treats will supposedly turn
your breast size to an F cup when consumed regularly. All it takes,
we are told, are two cookies a day.
The cookies are said to be loaded with plant estrogens that magically
increase breast size. Although the amount of cookies to be consumed
to achieve results is not given, it's somehow comforting to know that
the fat you gain from eating all those cookies will probably make its
way to your breasts - not your belly or butt.
If you've tried everything and are looking for results, switch to the
Clevastin Natural Breast Enlargement System. This product contains a
unique herbal blend of phytoestrogens that stimulates the mammary
glands and promotes the development of breast tissue. For details, go

Is there a yeast connection with women's health? What we commonly
call a yeast infection is also known as monilia vaginitis, candida
infection or fungus infection. Usually women contract a yeast
infection but they can occur in men, and can be very uncomfortable.
A cheesy, white discharge in the area of the vagina in women can be a
sign of a yeast infection. A health care professional can examine a
woman and identify if a fungus is present. A health care professional
will be able to advise a drug for treatment. Treatment is available
without a prescription. Some of the medicines for yeast infection
treatment can be applied over the woman's affected skin. This can
soothe the area and also help kill any infection that might be
developing in this area of her skin.
Some women do have constant fungus infections. They will recur
because she may be predisposed to the development of fungus
infections. Pregnant women sometimes have yeast infections that
return soon after they have completed treatment. Those who have a
depressed immunity because being on immunosuppressive agents, such as
a recipient of an organ transplant, can have problems getting rid of
a yeast infection. Also, women who have undergone treatment with
antibiotics sometimes develop a yeast infection. Diabetics,
debilitated women may also have trouble getting rid of a yeast
infection. In these cases there is a definite yeast connection with
the women's health. Some due to treatment they have undergone or due
to depressed immunity.
Yeast infection is a very common vaginal infection. Itching from the
infection can vary anywhere from mild to severe in women. It is very
irritating to women but it does no permanent damage to her body.
A person with a yeast infection can infect his or her sexual partner.
However, it is not a classic example of a sexually transmitted
disease.
There is a yeast connection with women's health. Yeast infection can
be a sign of a serious illness. If you have a persistent vaginal
candida infection it may be an early sign of AIDS. If you or your
partner have been involved in any activity that might make you at
high risk for AIDS and you have a relentless problem with candida
infections contact your health professional so you can be tested for
HIV.
If you think the size of an ever increasing belly is the only reason
for you to watch what you eat, then you are misguided and seriously
need to reconsider. You can prevent yeast infection in man by
watching what you eat. Or if you are unfortunate enough to be
struggling with this debilitating illness, it will allow you to
recover.
A large gut and and fatty man boobs are nothing compared to to a
yeast infection symptom in man. So if you do not think it is worth
putting away your candy bars and sodas then you have had fair warning!
It is easy for any of us who have experienced a particularly tasty
meal, and that really satisfied feeling of contentment we feel
afterwards, that it is almost a lifestyle in itself. Then again this
attitude towards the food we really relish is dangerous. All that we
consume from the jellied doughnut to the fancy, rich French dinner
comes at a price to us physically.
The price that we pay is with our health and well-being, and calorie
counts do not even come into it. Yeast infection in man is affected
by your diet...period! What we consume is the difference in us being
a 24 ounce steak dinner or a processed chicken burger to the candida
fungi, in terms of it being attracted to us.
An example in point here would be with diabetes sufferers. Due to the
abnormally high sugar levels in their urine, this provides an
excellent habitat for yeast formation and subsequently penile yeast
infection for the sufferer. This simply means that consistently
taking an extra spoon of white sugar in your coffee may eventually
expose you to dangers of yeast infection in man.
You really don't want this to happen but what you are eating right
now could be feeding the candida fungi. Yeast infection in its
simplest form lives and dies by what we eat. The threat of a yeast
infection symptom in man is not worth taking a risk with a poorly
constructed diet. As that is the case, why not go with a yeast
infection diet instead?
The great additional bonus of a yeast infection diet is that it also
promotes general well-being. The purpose is not to prevent any of the
symptoms of yeast infection in man. It is to turn the body into a
deadly environment for this infection, thus eliminating it and making
you a healthy person at the same time. Prevention rather than cure.
Don't let it take a symptom of yeast infection in man to get you
trying this diet. The opportunity of avoiding this terrible infection
and perhaps also a fat belly is surely enough reason to start on the
yeast infection diet and benefit greatly from it.
What happens if a yeast infection is not treated is a question that I
hear very often. Coming from a one time yeast infection sufferer, why
anyone would want a yeast infection to not be treated is not a
question I ever thought of asking. A yeast infection is a bacterial
infection that can cause quite serious symptoms especially if left
untreated.
The only reason I can think of anyone asking this question is someone
who is too embarrassed to go and buy an over the counter treatment.
These women are probably searching the internet for reassurance that
if they leave their yeast infection untreated it will actually go
away on its own. This is not the case.
If the Candida yeast is left alone without any effort to destroy it
the only thing that can happen is it will infect you even more. The
burning during urination will start to get severe to the point you
will not want to urinate. The itching will get more intense, and
sexual intercourse will be the last thing on your mind.
If you have just finished a course of antibiotics, and you're
suffering from a yeast infection you have a high chance of having the
yeast infection in your intestines as well. If this is left
untreated, and you don't follow an anti Candida protocol your
symptoms will be a lot more than just an itching and burning
sensation. You will start to experience symptoms that include...
LethargyLos of concentration and memory lossMuscle and joint aches
and painsGastrointestinal discomfort like bloating and
indigestionFood allergiesRecurrent vaginal or urinary infectionsMood
swingsDepressionFlu like symptomsAnd many more.
The quicker you start treating your yeast infection/candidiasis the
quicker it will be cured. There are plenty of natural remedies for
yeast infections that you can buy, and they are not related to yeast
infections. This will save you any embarrassment when your paying for
your products.
Women who are searching for that reassurance on the internet are just
wasting their time, and allowing their yeast infection to get worse.
"Will my yeast infection clear on its own?" Questions like this
should never be asked. The reason anyone has a yeast infection is
because the bodies natural defenses are not strong enough to stop the
Candida yeast multiplying. By the time the Candida yeast has mutated
it then becomes too strong for the bodies natural defenses to cope
with, and will need to be treated with an anti fungal treatment.
Yeast infection in men, something you just never thought about. Then
one day you wake up with one and it's all you can think about. Your
entire day is distracted with something you never thought could
happen to you. Trying to ignore a penile yeast infection is nothing
more than wishful thinking. You are, at the very least, brought to
awareness with obvious itchy red spots on that very important
extension of yourself. Often you're reminded through out the day not
only with itching, but with burning pain, as well.
After trying to deny that it's happened to you, this thing that
supposedly only happens to women, you have no choice but to accept
the truth of yeast infection in man. The seemingly endless hours of
suffering convince you that penile yeast infection is a reality
despite the fact that it's considered a rare phenomenon.
"Can man get yeast infection?" is no longer a question in your mind.
In fact it's no longer a question for many men who also suffer and
have personally found out it's more serious than they ever thought.
Yeast infection in man is beginning to be researched extensively and
is a scientific fact. The most troubling and probably the most
embarrassing type is penile yeast infection. I think most would agree.
The symptoms of penile yeast infection include rash-like bumps on the
penis head that can range from small red bumps to larger blisters and
sores. This is the more common of symptoms. Another symptom can be a
white discharge from the head of the penis. A man can suffer from one
or both symptoms depending on how the infection is affecting his body.
Sometimes when it comes to yeast infection in man, the symptoms may
be minor. With a single or a few minor symptoms, a man may ignore it
and not seek proper treatment. As yeast is an internal issue, outward
symptoms may not reflect the severity of the situation, which may
lead to a recurring yeast infection. My recommendation is to seek
treatment for even the most mild of symptoms.
Here's the shocker. Sometimes when it comes to yeast infection in man
there are no symptoms at all. A man can have a penile yeast infection
and not even know it. This can lead to recurring yeast infection
internally without any sense that anything is wrong. In some cases it
may be too late for anything to be done about it. This can be very
scary.
What can be done? Education is the key. Knowledge and information
about the causes, symptoms and cures are vital when dealing with
yeast infection in man. Better yet, education is most important
because yeast infection in man can be prevented. "Can man get yeast
infection?" The answer, we now know, is a big yes. We must truly
realize that it is not as unlikely as we think.
A home remedy is a treatment or cure for a disease that employs
certain foods or other common household items. As yogurt contain live
bacteria it prove to be very Useful for your body provides all the
necessary health needed by you. It has been tested that people who
have yogurt thrice a week can increase their life span than the one;
who had it just once a week your immunity increases by having yogurt.
It has a fine resistance to fight disease. Eating yogurt helps with
vaginal yeast infection.
Another yeast infection home remedy is cranberry, you can visit the
supermarket or drug store and buy some cranberry pills. The
ingredients of this drug have chemicals that are manufacture to boost
your immune system to stop the spread of fungus and return it back to
its normal level.
More so, yeast infection home remedy is for you to apply some apple
cider vinegar on a cotton ball and then apply this in the vaginal. You
might experience a slight itch and this can be reduced by diluting
with garlic, since garlic also has smell, you should probably dilute
it in water first. Similarly using some grapefruit seed exact and
some olive leaf as yeast infection home remedy offers the something
just as the vinegar.
Avoid wearing of tight fitted clothes and taking medication that has
not been checked by doctors. Taking of colloidal silver everyday is
also a good home remedy for candida so also spreading over of aloe -
vera over the infected part may quickly help with relieving the itch.
Finally, another well known home remedy is to drink two glasses of
butter milk daily in order to reduce the intense of a yeast
infection.Honey -smeared gently over the infected area is said to
bring balance to the region that contains the fungal growth. Let it
spread for six to eleven minutes and then wash...If you will like to
understand more on how to solve the problem of yeast remedy then
consider the link below as this could change your life.
Before looking into home remedies for treating a yeast infection, we
must first understand how this infection begins.
The yeast that causes the yeast infection is called Candida albicans,
and it is naturally present in everyone. Bacteria present in the
genital area keeps the number of this yeast in miniscule amounts. Any
change that will affect this balance could cause the growth of this
yeast to increase unchecked. As soon as that happens, infection can
set in. This imbalance can be result from a number of causes, such as
the use of antibiotics, a sudden hormone change, a change in acidity
in the vaginal area, and use of tight clothing that does not allow
for proper ventilation.
There are many treatments available, including antifungal creams and
prescription pills from physicians. Aside from these treatments, many
women seek out home remedies that have a long-lasting effect, with no
side effects. In fact, these remedies not only cure the infection,
they can also be taken daily to prevent infection. This is unlike the
antifungal medication, which can only be taken during an infection
due to the fact that the medication can lose effectiveness if taken
regularly.
Some examples that are known to remedy a yeast infection include the
use of curds or yogurt. Yogurt and curds are regarded as the best
form of home remedy. The bacterial content in the curds replaces
bacteria that keep the yeast growth in check. Another well-known
remedy is to drink two glasses of buttermilk everyday, whether you
are infected or not. Making buttermilk a part of your daily diet will
reduce the probability of a yeast infection.
Nearly 75 percent of all women suffer from yeast infections. For
those of you who do not want to use medication to cure the infection,
you have options that do not require you to seek medical assistance.
These remedies can be used by everyone, and the ingredients are
readily available.
What's the connection between fungus spores and nail fungus? Fungi
that are actively growing will eventually produce spores - tiny
reproductive stages that break away from the plant and spread to new
places on air currents, in water, and on living things that move
about. Most people have seen fungal spores: perhaps you've seen a
green dusty powder inside the bag of a loaf of bread that's gone
moldy, or noticed that portobello mushrooms leave a black coating on
your cutting board. These substances are actually large numbers of
spores (a single spore is microscopic so you can't see it - by the
time they become visible there are millions.)
It's important to understand that most fungi produce spores of one
find or another - infectious fungal spores, that is, those that can
cause infection in people, only come from a few species. Portobello
mushroom spores, and those of most other environmental species will
not hurt you (though it's probably not a good idea to casually inhale
spores of any fungus, for various reasons). There is only a
connection between fungus spores and nail fungus infection when the
spores are from one of fungi that can grow in keratin, the protein
that is common in nails, hair, and skin.
Infectious fungal spores are produced by fungi growing in infected
toenails and fingernails. They are dispersed in the environment when
bits of nail and skin flake off, on nail clippers and instruments
used to trim and file nails, in nail clippings, in shoes and socks,
in water, and when the afflicted person walks about with bare feet.
When you realize that a small colony of fungus can produce millions
of spores, it's easier to understand how the infection can spread
readily from one nail to another, on shared clothing and grooming
instruments, and in public swimming areas. An infection produces
fungus spores and nail fungus spreads.
Most cases of fungal nail infection are caused by a few species of
dermatophytes - fungi that are adapted to utilize keratin as a
nutrient source. They spread from person to person and from animal to
person by means of fungus spores and nail fungus infection is not the
only problem they cause: infections of the skin and hair are
generally caused by the same species. A few environmental fungi, i.e.
species that normally live in nature, deriving nutrients from
decaying organic material, can also produce infectious fungal spores
that can grow in nails, but not skin or hair. Fortunately, the
species involved in any particular infection does not generally
matter when it comes to treatment of onychomycosis.
It is commonly believed that yeast infections are exclusive to women.
This, however, is a gross misconception. Yeast infections can occur
in both men and women.
A yeast infection is a very common type of infection; nearly seventy-
five percent of all women get a yeast infection at least once in
their lives, and at least half of all women have had multiple
infections. The fungus that causes yeast infection is present in
everybody, and its growth is being regulated by bacteria that are
also naturally present in the body. A slight disruption in this
balance can cause the yeast to rapidly grow unregulated, which
ultimately is the cause of the infection.
There are many contributing factors that may cause the disruption of
the bacterial balance in the genital area. Overusing antibiotics is a
common cause of yeast infections; the antibiotics will not only kill
the bad bacteria, but it will also kill the good bacteria that
regulate the yeast in your body. Killing these good bacteria will
allow the yeast to grow unregulated, causing an infection. Change in
hormone levels can also contribute to the formation of a yeast
infection by changing the pH balance of the vaginal area. If the
genital area becomes too acidic the bacterial balance could be
disrupted.
Symptoms of this infection include itching and a burning sensation in
the genital area, a white discharge that looks like cottage cheese,
pain during intercourse, and swelling of the vulva.
Yeast infections are usually treated with antifungal medications. If
you are suffering from your first yeast infection, it would be a good
idea to see your doctor. It is important to have a proper diagnosis
before beginning an antifungal treatment. Taking antifungal mediation
when unnecessary can cause the yeast to develop a resistance to the
medication. So it is important to only take medicine when suffering
from a yeast infection.
Nearly 75% of the women in this world suffer from this yeast
infection at one time or another in their lives. This is followed by
various symptoms of yeast infection like itching, burning, pain, and
discharge having a "baked bread" odor, and reddening of the labia
and, sometimes, the upper thigh. It can occur mainly anywhere on your
body especially, underarms, between toes and genital organs, etc. in
both men and women. But its more common in women.
What is a Yeast Infection?
Yeast are minute organisms (Candida fungus) living in small numbers
on human body. But the condition worsens the moment these organisms
start to grow. Have you ever noticed that diaper rash covering the
little bottom of your baby? This is nothing else than yeast
infection. And this kind of thrush often develops in the mouth of the
babies. And this sort of yeast infection is called mouth yeast
infection.
Recurrent yeast infections indicate that something or the other
within you or your baby is going wrong or out of balance.
Causes of Yeast Infection
What happens, there is a mild acid pH environment in your healthy
vagina and it keeps Candida and other microorganisms from multiplying
thereby preventing to cause infection. If your vagina is rich in
acids, then it will prevent yeast from growing. With the decreasing
levels of acidity in your vagina, the yeast starts growing rapidly
causing yeast infection. There is a fungus called Candida albicans
that causes vaginal yeast infections.
Several other causes that play havoc to your vaginal environment are:
1. Menstruation: Some women complain of having yeast flare-ups just
before or after their menstrual period. This causes a lot of
discomfort and annoyance to the sufferer.
2. Pregnancy: In pregnancy, your hormones go through a lot of changes
thereby resulting in an imbalance in the vaginal pH and this
increases the production of blood sugar feeding the infectious
organisms. But this happens to most of the pregnant women, and not to
all.
3. Antibiotics: Certain antibiotics when consumed, stimulate the
growth of the yeast organisms thereby making you a yeast infected
woman.
4. Poorly controlled Diabetes: Due to poor control over Diabetes, the
sugar levels in your urine, vagina and blood start increasing rapidly
and this results in increased yeast growth.
5. Stress: It is found in many women going through stressful phases
in their lives that stress leads to yeast infections in them, though
doctors have not fully confirmed this connection.
Yeast infection is not a problem to be ignored. And if you are that
lucky one not to have experienced it yet, then go for as much
guidance as you can get on yeast infection through internet.
May God Bless You with the best of health and in high spirits always!
It is important to know the facts regarding a yeast infection.
Natural treatment is available, and it is advisable to take advantage
of it even if you are taking a drug to treat the symptoms. Natural
treatment for a yeast infection is easy and fast, and you can do it
in the comfort of your own home.
Here are the facts you need to know:
Fact #1:Anyone can get a yeast infection. Men, women, babies, and
children can all be infected by yeast infections. In fact, at one
point in their lives, 75% of the population will get a yeast
infection. Natural treatment takes care of the underlying causes of
the problem and eliminates yeast infections for good.
Fact #2:Yeast infections are contagious. A man or woman may pass it
to their partner. During breastfeeding, a mother and baby may pass
each other a yeast infection. Natural treatment will stop this cycle.
Fact #3:There are drugs one can take that cure symptoms. However,
many times people find that the yeast infection recurs in one way or
another. The reason for this is that drugs do not take care of the
root cause of the yeast infection. Natural treatment will.
Fact #4:Below are three examples of a typical manifestation of a
yeast infection. Natural treatment can help all of these:
Vaginal yeast infectionsThe most common symptom of a vaginal yeast
infection is itching in the vaginal and/or vulvar area. Other
symptoms include burning, soreness, pain during intercourse or
urination, and vaginal discharge.
Oral yeast infectionsa smooth creamy white or yellow coating in the
mouth; red, peeling patches, most commonly on the palate and tongue;
or red cracks at the corners of the mouth often covered by a pseudo
membrane.
Diaper yeast infectionsA diaper rash that might have multiple red
bumps, pus-filled bumps, or a scaling pattern on the infected skin.
Fact #5:Yeast infections may leave yeast spores in the body which can
cause many other symptoms. Some examples of such symptoms are:
fatigue, digestive problems, memory loss, muscle aches, depression,
shortness of breath, food allergies, and cravings for sweets. Not
everybody gets all of these symptoms, but they might be present as a
result of a yeast infection. Natural treatment can eliminate these
symptoms as well.
Fact #6:Yeast spores can remain dormant for years and then flare up
again and cause recurring yeast infections. Natural treatment will
prevent this from happening.
So I recommend: if you or your loved one has a yeast infection,
natural treatment should definitely be on your agenda. Get rid of the
yeast infection once and for all, and spend your time dealing with
more pleasant things.
A yeast infection is a condition caused by the fungus Candida
albicans. A vaginal yeast infection is an excess growth of yeast
cells in the vagina. Learning to recognize the symptoms of vaginal
yeast infection is vital before women attempt self-treatment. The
most common symptom of a vaginal yeast infection is itching in the
vaginal and/or vulvar area. Yeast infection is so common that 3/4
women will have it in their life time. Treating a yeast infection is
simple, but it's important to visit your doctor for the right
diagnosis.
Natural Treatment
Instead of reaching for a costly over the counter medication; why not
use a natural remedy for yeast infection instead? Most women would
love to know if there was a natural yeast infection cure, and there
are some natural remedies for a yeast infection. The first one is
dietary natural cure for yeast infection - for example Cranberry
pills, which can be found at natural food stores, can be taken
throughout the duration of a yeast infection as a supplement. Among
the most effective natural treatments for yeast infection is the use
of probiotics, or what is commonly called friendly bacteria or
beneficial bacteria. Acidophilus is an ideal natural cure for yeast
infection, as it is a natural probiotic. The advantage of a natural
approach to fighting yeast infection, is it allows control over the
yeast permanently and puts your immune system back on track. If you
are in any way uncertain, consult a health care provider to modify
your diet and/or treat this condition directly with an effective, all
natural yeast infection control product.
Who Doesn't Want a Natural Remedy for a Yeast Infection?
Whether it's a dislike for man-made chemicals or just plain
embarrassment, many women seek a natural remedy for a yeast
infection. One well known home remedy for yeast infection is the
regular use of curds or yogurt. This home remedy for a yeast
infection combats the fungus (yeast) that is responsible for the
infection. Curds and yogurt are foods identified to be the most
effective home remedy for yeast infection. Some believe that the best
way to use yogurt as a natural remedy for yeast infection is by
inserting plain yogurt into the vaginal area. Taking a tampon dipped
in yogurt and inserting it in the vagina, twice a day, is one of the
most recommended home remedy for yeast infection.
Natural Treatment for Yeast Infections
The treatment for yeast infection varies from person to person. Most
of these candidal infections are superficial and clear up easily with
treatment but their causes are quite different, their symptoms
similar, and treatment varies. Try to avoid intercourse until you
have completed treatment and the symptoms have subsided. It is
important to receive proper treatment for your yeast infection, and
it is very important to consult with your doctor before treatment. If
you don't complete treatment correctly you may not get rid of the
yeast infection. Women who do not improve after treatment with a
standard oral or vaginal treatment for yeast infection should be
reexamined by their physician. With proper treatment, the infection
usually clears up in a few days to a week.
If the yeast infection is left untreated, the symptomatic pains of
this infection may continue and this may worsen the severity. One of
the main causes of recurring chronic yeast infection is sexual
activity. If your yeast infection is chronic, even after a change of
diet and the use of herbal therapies, have your male sex partner
evaluated. If a yeast infection is left untreated it can progress to
a bacterial infection, which is more serious.
As embarrassing as this can make some women feel, you must realize
that the yeast infection is not your fault. Yeast infection is merely
an overgrowth of yeast in or on the body, and yeast infection is able
to affect ANY part of the human body. Many homeopathic physicians
feel a systemic yeast infection is the most overlooked and
misdiagnosed disease in medicine. If you have symptoms of a yeast
infection, see a doctor immediately so they can determine if a yeast
infection is the cause of your symptoms, and suggest a course of
(hopefully natural) treatment.
Pain. Hemorrhage. Death. By methods of cutting and ripping with
knifes, thorns, glass shards. A surgery that has affected over 100
million women. And the name? Female circumcision, genital mutilation,
or simply torture.
Each year, approximately 2 million women and girls across the world
experience this surgery that ranges from a small incision on the
clitoris to complete removal of all external genitalia. For many,
there is nothing that they can do to stop it.
Female genital mutilation or circumcision is the cutting, pricking,
or complete removal of external female genitalia. The reasons for
this are to promote chastity, to enhance male sexual pleasure and, in
some places, because the female genitalia are considered unclean and
ugly. This problem is well-known to exist in about 28 African
countries and, to a lesser extent, in areas of Asia.
Less known is the appearance of this phenomenon across the Western
world. Cases have begun to appear in places such as France, Canada,
the United Kingdoms and the United States in recent years, as
immigrants relocate outside of their homelands into new territory. In
France, an immigrant family had their daughter undergo this surgery.
When it was discovered, both the family and the doctor, another
immigrant, were charged with child abuse. There have been many
stories of refugees seeking asylum for themselves or their daughters
in order to avoid this surgery. Americans were horrified when they
heard of the refugee that was imprisoned in Brooklyn, as approval for
status pended. Names have been suppressed for privacy.
As immigration becomes increasingly widespread, policies must be set
in place to deal with other cultures. Many argue that female genital
mutilation is the same as male circumcision and is a cultural
heritage, a right. As immigrants seek asylum in countries that do not
participate in female genital mutilation, countries must set up a
culture that prohibits the degradation and humiliation that is a part
of this practice.
While some people claim that it is part of their religion,
particularly in countries where Islam is the predominant religion,
ironically, the Koran makes no mention of the necessity of this
procedure. Many religious leaders of Islam readily claim no
connection to this surgery.
Organizations such as WHO and UNICEF believe that the only way for
this atrocity to cease is to spread awareness. They promote many
seminars and educational programs that spread the details of this
custom.
As knowledge about this practice spreads, explanations for its
existence begin to appear, such as the poverty and the lack of power
that women have in these particular locales. As nations band together
to take a stand against the inequalities and injustices of female
genital mutilation, they also must examine the realities that have
forced this practice on these societies.
It is well known fact that candida yeast produces (as a waste
product) more than 75 toxic substances that poison the human body.
The two major toxins (canditoxin and ethanol) that candida yeast
produces have a negative affect our brain and it and can
significantly interfere with your biochemical processes. Not treating
yeast infection can lead to candida overgrowth which releases
Canditoxin and ethanol into your blood stream, the same dangerous
toxins that when injected into rats, caused paralysis of the limbs
and death.
Canditoxin and ethanol have known to be the cause of many symptoms,
some of them are: vaginal yeast infection, dry itchy skin, oral
thrush, skin rashes, eczema, joint pain, stomach bloating, chronic
diarrhea, arthritis, constipation, heartburn, blisters in the mouth,
restless sleep, lack of energy, brain fog, chronic sinus problems,
jumpy legs, headaches, blurred vision, mood swings, sugary food
cravings, food allergies, jock and rectal itching, body chills
athlete's foot and the list is long.
