I am a female with autism the aspergers kind. I have been treated unfairly about
some female medical issues I had by the group home. The Way I feel I have been
treated unfairly about some female medical issues I had by the group homer is:
On March 27, 2009 when I went to Urgent Care I found out I through a Urine
specimen the Urgent Care took that I had a both a yeast infection and bacterial
infection
I tried explaining to the group home staff person who was with me
1. On Saturday March 21, 2009 I started having painful burning everytime I
urinate
2. On Wednesday March 25, 2009 I noticed a Rash that is on the skin under my
tummy near my legs which this reoccurs

I have been told by doctors that the rash under my tummy is both fungus and
Yeast. My Group home staff thinks at all times that the Rash that is on the skin
under my tummy near my legs which reoccurs caused me to have a Yeast infection
which showed up in my urine specimen and that this would be cured if I use the
cream that is for my rash that is on the skin

The painful Burning everytime I urinate started way before I noticed a Rash that
is on the skin under my tummy near my legs .

My Group home staff thinks at all times that if I have a Rash on the skin under
my tummy near my legs which reoccurs which I am suppose to use cream for will
cure any burning in my urine if I have burning in my urine.

My group home staff does not want to help me when I am feeling burning in my
urine at all in getting to the doctor to get this taken care of and looked at.

How can my Rash that is on the skin under my tummy near my legs which reoccurs
cause me to have a yeast infection that shows up in any urine specimen because I
have been told by doctors that the rash under my tummy is both fungus and Yeast.
Does anyone have this that can relate to me with this?

If you can talk to me please e-mail me at

Is there a woman that has not had a yeast infection at some point in
their life? If there are they're not very many in number. For the few
women that are lucky enough to avoid getting this, you should thank
your lucky stars. Those lucky few have never had to ask a friend or
doctor how to get rid of a yeast infection. We have all seen those
comical commercials on television for yeast infection creams that
show women in utter agony. The commercials would have you believe
that it is impossible to live your life while suffering a yeast
infection.
A commonly held misconception is that yeast infections are caused by
some serious lapse in good personal hygiene. Like other issues,
including bad breath, the truth is that it has nothing to do with
keeping clean. Ph balance is the culprit, and when yours goes off
kilter you may find that you are beset with a vaginal yeast infection.
So what can alter ph balance and cause a yeast infection? Many things
actually. You can get a yeast infection simply because you are taking
antibiotics. Antibiotics try to kill everything in your system and
this includes the beneficial elements in your lady region. One thing
that many women don't know is that one very common cause of this
problem is, get ready for it, soap. Hard to believe, but true none
the less. There are some products that will alter your ph balance.
So what can you do to cure yourself of yeast infections? The most
common advice that people offer is to just wait, it will pass. You
will be told it is not a very big deal. But, if you have ever had a
serious case, you know that that can be a very unpleasant period of
time. Drugs are always available to take care of almost everything in
our culture, but wouldn't a natural cure for yeast infection be a
better solution.
Cure Yeast Infection Without Drugs Or Typical Yeast Infection
Treatments
Drugs, creams and typical Yeast Infection treatments sometimes work
in a partial way and temporarily and the side effects are nasty. The
tiny handful Yeast Infection sufferers who have learned how to treat
their Yeast Infection from within and without ever using drugs or
over the counters are the only people in the world who keep their
system clear of candida infection permanently. Now you can learn
these Yeast Infection cure secrets from a nutritionist and a former
sufferer who knows from real-world experience exactly how it's
done.

Male yeast infections can occur in just the same places that women
will get it - with the exception of the vagina of course! But, I'm
not talking primarily of the yeast infections that can occur
elsewhere on the body, but instead of the type of yeast infections
that can occur on the genital area. Yeast infections in men can occur
just as they do in women.
Now since men don't have a vagina, and therefore can't harbor or
breed the Candida bacteria in their vagina, it falls to the factor of
transference for men to get yeast infections.
Causes
Although there can be a few different reasons for men to get yeast
infections, the most common reason is due to transferal through
sexual intercourse. If their sexual partner has a yeast infection,
then a man has a chance of also contracting a yeast infection.
You can in fact get a yeast infection by passing it along to your
partner through sexual intercourse. For the most part this is how
male yeast infections will occur. It will pass from you to your
partner and sometimes even back again.
That's why it's a good thing if you can stop all sexual relations
until your yeast clears up. After all that's said and done, it's
better to have a short period of abstinence in your life than to have
to be continually guarding against a recurrence of yeast just because
you passed it along to your partner.
This can sometimes have a ping pong effect where you might first have
the yeast infection and pass it along to your partner, who in turn
will get it, and who in turn will pass it back to you. However,
although you can get yeast infections through sexual intercourse,
yeast infections aren't considered as a sexually transmitted disease.
This is not a matter of sexually transmitted diseases. Yeast
infections can be transmitted through sexual intercourse, but that
doesn't mean that the other person will get it. In the case of male
yeast infections, there's only a 12-15% chance that they will get it
f their partner has a yeast infection.
That's why it's always a good idea to abstain from having sexual
relations while you have a yeast infection.
Symptoms
Symptoms of male yeast infections will be similar to those of vaginal
yeast infections. There will be some differences but for the most
part they are similar.
? Itching of the penis ? Burning sensation of the tip of the penis ?
Red rash on your penis ? Burning sensation when urinating
Cures
And just as the symptoms for male yeast infections are the same or
similar to those of female yeast infections, the cures are also the
same or similar. Very obviously there are some things that you can't
do in the case of cures, like the use of suppositories for instance.
But you can adapt just about all of the other cures to suit you. You
might also want to ask your doctor about prescription medications and
over the counter medications.
In the case of over the counter medications you might definitely want
to ask your doctor first about whether you can use them as well, or
whether you need to go in for something different. And once you do
get it there's also the chance that you can pass it back to your
sexual partner and get it back again as
well.

Subject: Treatments For A Yeast Infection - What You Should Know

What is a yeast infection and what are some of the treatments for a
yeast infection? According to doctors, yeast infections are very
common and can occur at any age. They are caused by an overabundance
of yeast which, for women, is found in the vagina. While
uncomfortable, vaginal yeast infections rarely lead to serious health
problems. What are the treatments for a yeast infection? Let's review
the more traditional methods in treating this condition.
Some of the factors contributing to yeast infections can include:
high estrogen levels; use of birth control pills; diabetes;
antibiotics; poor immune system; obesity; and an having continuous
moisture build-up in the genital area for longs periods of time. This
can be caused by wearing tight fitting clothing. While some yeast
infections can be treated with traditional medications; there are
some conditions which can evolve into more serious and life-
threatening conditions. The symptoms experienced during a yeast
infection can be itching; vaginal discharge; redness; pain during
sexual intercourse as well as during urination. In addition, it is
most commonly known to occur before a menstrual period.
Yeast infection relief may include over the counter medication; oral
or vaginal medication prescribed by a doctor; or vaginal boric acid
as an alternative treatment. However, if you know you have a severe
infection, it is important to visit your gynecologist to determine if
it is a yeast infection, and what methods can be used to cure the
condition. While antifungal medications are used to treat yeast
infections in vaginal form, you can use oral medications as well. In
fact, oral medications can further treat any infection which may be
in your body.
While some women use cranberry juice and yogurt as standard
treatments for a yeast infection, these may or may not prevent re-
occurrence. However, it is important to note that chronic yeast
infections may be due to a more serious condition which would require
intervention.
If you have a yeast infection, your best course of action would be to
visit your gynecologist to determine the seriousness of the
condition; course of treatment; and prevention. If you find the
treatment prescribed yields little or no results, you may wish to
look into other forms of yeast infection home treatment including,
but not limited to, a holistic method designed to rid your body of
toxins and other known viruses which may be contributing to the
condition itself.
While this condition affects both men and women, it is important to
determine which treatments for a yeast infection lends itself to a
more effective cure. It is also important to research this condition
so that if it does affect you, knowing what it is and how it is
traditionally treated can allow you to further explore others means
of treatment.

Subject: Yeast Infection In Men Is Not As Crazy As It Sounds

It keeps you awake at night. You stay up wondering how did it happen,
how could it happen to you. You can't get anything done throughout
the day because you're thinking about yeast infection for men.
The little pricks of pain, each deluge of harsh ache lowers your
productivity at work, and keeps you from enjoying your family. You
feel like a freak, your penile yeast infection keeps you from
focusing on anything, sabotaging your pride with reddish spots where
reddish spots should not be. The itching and burning is always there,
mocking you like a fifth grade bully who just stole your lunch money.
Only after days of this kind of suffering can a man bring himself to
admit the shameful truth: you're a man with a yeast infection. You
thought it was only a problem for women, but while it is rare, a
yeast infection in a man is a harsh reality.
Can man get a yeast infection? It's not a stupid question anymore.
Medicine has come a long way, and it is a serious problem. Many cases
of this horrible malady have been diagnosed across the globe. Penile
yeast infection is quite possibly the most embarrassing thing that
can happen to a man. It's not as crazy as it sounds.
Known symptoms of penile yeast infection include a reddish rash
coloration on the head of the penis and a white discharge that yeast
infections are known for. The rash could range from slightly annoying
to painful blisters and sores. The rash is much more common than the
discharge, but both can happen at the same time.
Men have the tendency to dismiss anything if the symptoms aren't too
severe. This could be a serious problem in the case of yeast
infection in man. Dealing with slight or fewer symptoms may be
easier, if men refuse to seek proper and timely treatment. Untreated,
these minor symptoms could evolve into a recurring yeast infection,
which is much, much worse.
The rash and discharge may not be too hard to deal with, but penile
yeast infection in man can even be present without any symptoms at
all. That's the most dangerous kind actually, because by the time the
symptoms show up, the yeast infection in man could be so bad that you
can't do anything about it, and it ends up becoming a recurring
problem.
So, the answer to "Can man get yeast infection?" is yes, but the
answer to "What can man do to avoid it?" is more important. Answer:
Stay ahead of the game. First, you have to stop ignoring your
problem, it's not just going to go away. The way to fight it is to
learn more about it. Know the causes, symptoms and cures and you can
defeat it and help prevent it from ever happening to you. If more men
took the time to learn about it, yeast infection in man could be
eliminated
altogether.

Candidiasis, commonly called yeast infection or thrush, is common
fungal infection caused by the Candida species. The most common being
Candida Albicans. Under normal circumstances, candida yeasts are
usually present in most people, the growth of candida is kept in
check by other naturally microorganisms, such as bacteria and other
flora. Strong immune system also plays an important role in keeping
candida growth balanced. However, due to some reasons, overgrowth may
occur and that is when candida causes problems to our health.
Candidiasis is the second most common cause of vaginal irritation or
vaginitis. This also occurs in male genitals. Children can be
affected too, usually by chronic mouth yeast infections, normally
seen around the mouth as white patches. Candidiasis can usually be
found in exposed and moist body parts such as the mouth, vagina,
folds of skin, nipples during breast feeding, foreskin in men, the
ear and in the nostrils. Some of the common symptoms of candida
infections include severe itching, burning, and soreness, irritation
of the vagina and/or vulva, and a whitish or whitish-gray discharge,
often with a curd-like appearance.
Some of the common causes of candida overgrowth are:
*External use of irritants (such as some detergents or douches) or
internal disturbances (hormonal or physiological) can perturb the
normal flora, constituting lactic acid bacteria, such as
lactobacilli, and an overgrowth of yeast can result in noticeable
symptoms.*Pregnancy*The use of oral contraceptives*Engaging in
vaginal sex immediately and without cleansing after anal sex*Using
lubricants containing glycerin have been found to be causally related
to yeast infections.*Diabetes mellitus*Use of antibiotics are also
linked to an increased incidence of yeast infections.*Other secondary
causes include hormone replacement therapy, infertility treatments
and diet.
Candida infection or candidiasis is commonly treated with antifungal
drugs. However, candida infections might be commonly misdiagnosed as
bacteria infection and thus antibiotics are prescribed. Antibiotics
will worsen the condition as antibiotics will eliminate the friendly
bacteria which is the natural candida eliminator.
Treating Candidiasis solely with medication may not give desired
results, and other underlying causes require consideration. As an
example, oral candidiasis is often linked to the use of inhaled
corticosteroids in asthma medication. Patients on long-term inhaled
corticosteroids should rinse their mouths after each dose of steroids
to counteract this effect. Oral candidiasis can also be the sign of a
more serious condition, such as HIV infection, or other
immunodeficiency diseases.
You can try these home remedies for candidiasis:
# Increase the consumption of yogurt (which contains lactobacillus),
probiotics, acidophilus tablets or salves.
# Try taking some lightly crushed cloves of garlic which contains
allicin, an antifungal agent.
# Some have used boric acid for treating vaginal infections, by
inserting gelcaps filled with boric acid powder into the vagina at
bedtime for a few consecutive nights.
# Eat a diet consisting of greens, raw and fresh vegetables may
provide some relief.
There are many natural supplements for fighting candida infection in
the market. Some are known to work very effectively. You have to do
your research and make sure that it has no side effects and contains
only natural ingredients. Go to
http://www.provenhealthcare.com/recommends/candidol for more
information on candida natural supplements which have proven to
work.

Yeast Infection In Men
When you consider yeast infection in men it's not something that you
should take lightly, regardless of the slim odds. You'd be much
better off if you spent your time preparing for the possibility of
your contracting it then thinking about whether or not you may catch
it. Planning for preparing and knowing what you can do to prevent it
is a much better chance of not catching it. Even though there is
little chance of your getting it, your chances will be even better
not to get it if you know how to prevent it.
In the game of change, it's a gamble worth taking.
When you consider the possibilities of contracting it, keep the old
adage in your mind that "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of
cure". Even though yeast infections have always been thought about as
a woman's malady, you must continually consider the reality that men
can suffer from a Candida yeast infection just like a female can.
Men don't have the benefit of selecting a cure unlike women who have
such a benefit. Their options include a wide array of cures which a
specifically developed to their own gender. After all, vaginal yeast
infections are fairly common which has been a lead to the manufacture
of their own line of medications. Consider this with the only
occasional penile yeast infections. As rare as penile yeast
infections are, there are still many items available which leaves men
with very little choice from risky prescriptions which may or not
work, even to the extent of turning a minor symptom into a recurring
yeast infection.
Men, in general, have a hard time understanding how they, out of all
the men who have contracted the Candida fungus infection could get it
themselves. Unfortunately they don't give it a second thought. In
todays world, it's time for men to consider and understand yeast
infection prevention. Those who do not consider prevention are
playing a very dangerous game of chance which could leave them
unprepared when the worst happens..
Dealing With Yeast Infection In Men
This is not so simple that you can find a cure and apply it. Uncommon
as it is, you might find it difficult to come by a treatment.
Remember that some symptoms don't show up in some men, and there is
also the possibility that there won't be a remedy applied until well
after the infection has become a severe yeast infection. You must
remember that treatments make no guarantees and that medication
itself it not a miracle drug and from time to time it fails to save.
Occasions Come Up When No Amount Of Cure Can Make Up For A Mere Ounce
Of Prevention
It's very unfortunate that when someone finds out that they have the
infection they cannot turn back.
This very fact makes it more important that men, more so than women,
should practice yeast infection prevention. After all, preventive
measures bring security rather than fear or concern.
Prevention Is Up To You
Preventive measures are not only easy, but are simple to follow. They
can be as simple as practicing safe sex, reading up on on yeast
infection so you can understand its causes and symptoms, as well as
keeping your body's strength by eating right. Take the steps to learn
how to cure a yeast infection naturally and you'll find them
beneficial since several of these methods involve enhancing your
body's immune system which serves to defend against infection. It
only takes some preparation to protect yourself by educating yourself
about yeast infections in
men.

A yeast infection can become a very uncomfortable sensation for most
people. This type of infection is very common, affecting nearly
seventy-five percent of the female population. This infection is
caused by a type of yeast-like fungus called Candida, which is
naturally present in our bodies in small quantities. Its numbers are
carefully regulated by bacteria in our bodies. If this bacterial
balance is disrupted, the yeast could be allowed to grow
uncontrollably, causing an infection.
Most yeast infections can be treated at home with over-the-counter or
prescription medication and can clear up in less than a week. This is
assuming that your immune system has not been compromised by another
form of disease, such as HIV or Lyme disease. Treatment can come in
cream, pill, or vaginal suppository form. You should consult your
physician first to find which form of treatment is right for you.
If you have a weak immune system, your doctor may treat minimal
infections with homecare, but if the infection becomes serious, you
may need IV medication given at the hospital.
There are many forms of antifungal creams available for purchase.
These products should be massaged into the vaginal area and
surrounding tissue for one to seven days, depending on the product.
You should consult with a doctor first before beginning any form of
treatment.
You should also be careful when using any form of antifungal cream.
There have been a number of cases in which these medications have
shown little or no effect on yeast infections. This is because the
yeast has grown a resistance to the medication. This occurs when the
medication is overused, which is why it is important to only use this
product when you have been positively diagnosed with yeast infection.
If you are suffering from your first yeast infection, you should
consult a doctor in order to accurately diagnose the
situation.

You've probably seen countless commercials and ads for vaginal yeast
infection treatments. You've probably also suffered the intense
itching, redness, burning, vaginal discharge, painful urination and
painful sexual intercourse associated with having a yeast infection.
But how much do you actually know about a yeast infection? What
causes it and where it comes from?
In fungal vaginitis, most often caused the bacteria Candida albicans,
raised grey or white lesions surrounded by red areas are formed.
These lesions can produce a thick white curd like discharge. What
most people don't know or understand is that this bacteria is
relatively common and is present in the natural microflora of 20% of
non-pregnant women and 30% of pregnant ones. It normally doesn't
cause any problems until something upsets the balance of good
bacteria to the bad Candida albicans bacteria. When this happens the
Candida bacteria overwhelm the body's natural good bacteria and a
yeast infection is born.
So what can cause this disruption in the balance between the good and
bad bacteria? There are a number of causes, some of which can be
avoided more than others.
1. Antibiotics - using antibiotics to fight one type of infection can
also kill the good bacteria that keep the yeast bacteria in check.
2. Clothing - Tight or non cotton clothing such as your underwear
creates the perfect warm moist environment for yeast to grow in.
3. Chemicals - Such as those found in laundry detergents or on
scented toilet papers can upset the bacterial balance.
4. Condoms - Recent studies have found that condoms with nonoxynol-9,
a spermicide, can kill off the good bacteria.
5. Hormones - Changes in hormone levels can cause yeast infections,
particularly in pregnant women.
6. Sexual transmission - Candida can be transferred between sexual
partners. Yes, men can get it too.
7. Weakened Immune System - The body's natural defenses are incapable
of dealing with an outbreak of yeast. This is more apparent in women
with HIV or Lyme disease.
There are some natural remedies for a yeast infection. They normally
involve restoring the balance of good bacteria to bad bacteria and
can be an effective way to counter the affects of the causes of a
yeast infection.
1. Acidophilus and Bifidus - These are bacteria that kill yeast and
are normally present in healthy women. You can get them by eating
yogurt with live cultures. You can also take a
lactobacillus/acidophilus supplement found at any health food store.
You can also find acidophilus suppositories which are effective in
killing the yeast.
2. Decrease your sugar intake. Sugar creates a yeast growing
environment.
3. Douche - There are two types you can try. One is a solution of 1
to 3 tbsp of vinegar per quart of water. Use this once a day for no
longer than a week. The second type is a herbal douche. Use equal
parts of raspberry, comfrey and sage mixed with ? part goldenseal and
mixed with a cider vinegar.
4. There are over the counter yeast infection medications. If you use
one of these make sure they contain Nystatin or imidazole.
If you have never had a yeast infection before it is important that
you see your doctor for an accurate diagnosis before trying any type
of treatment. You don't want to be treating a condition you don't
have. You also will need to see your doctor if your symptoms persist,
as they will be able to make an accurate diagnosis of your condition
and suggest the proper
treatment.

The hormonal changes of the women's body during pregnancy set -off
the PH level .As far as the body holds a certain amount of yeast,
some health practitioners claim that the hormonal estrogen changes
can also change the PH level as well as the level of yeast in the
body. Almost 70% of women will experience it at least once in their
lifetime. I never had it until I carried my first pregnancy.
Generally speaking, the same natural treatments and cures along with
the ways of how to prepare and use a variety of natural remedies for
a yeast infection can also be used to treat infection during
pregnancy. But because of the concern for the baby's situation or
wellbeing, it is advisable to consult a health care professional
before using any treatment, whether natural or drug, during
pregnancy, again and again this should be done in order to avoid any
negative effects on the baby.
Pregnant women should avoid perfumed feminine hygiene sprays, avoid
any bubble baths especially avoid non-organic soaps, do away with
fake natural soaps, make sure you check the ingredient because most
of these contains harsh chemicals than the average soap. Please check
if they are non -organic or filled with artificial colours and
perfume.
Some women may not understand one simple rule when it comes to
bathroom cleanliness in the area of wiping properly, if one has never
heard that there is proper way to wipe, then this may be the cause of
all of the yeast infections, bacteria grow near the anus and this can
be transmitted to the vaginal area if the woman wipes from back to
front. Therefore it is advisable to wipe the area from front to back
as this will hinder transmission of bacteria, vaginal yeast during
pregnancy can be helped by making changes in eating habits/pattern as
well as in the environment that is allowing yeast to thrive. As with
any other reason for yeast infection flareup, trying to avoid times
when your vaginal area becomes warm, moist environment is most
important, keeping your self indoors and away from the heat of summer
during pregnancy is not only good to avoid this, but body temperature
can change PH level, and a yeast infection may follow that
temperature rise. It is advisable to avoid such time that can rise PH
level especially right before birth
Another healing measure is to wash genital before and after sexual
intercourse with itbsp. Distill white vinegar diluted in 2 cups warm
water, since sexual intercourse can irritate the inflamed vaginal
area, try to avoid it as much as possible during
treatment.

Once you've had yeast infection you will never want to get it again.
Unfortunately about 80% of women will have it at some point in their
lives. You've probably seen countless adverts and found heaps of
information claiming to have the number one remedy but do they work?
I doubt it!
There are tonnes of remedies that are said to get rid of the
infection quickly. But a lot of drugs can be dangerous. Especially
those found online. The thing with drugs is that they mask the
illness; they do not get to the Root it. Studies actually show that
with illness's like Yeast infection you are better off being cured
with a natural remedy. People have been curing problems like yeast
infection long before the drug companies came about. So what is a
good natural remedy for yeast infection?
The infection actually occurs when the good bacteria in your body
create an unbalanced environment with the bad bacteria. There are
many ways to prevent the unbalance but a lot less ways to cure it.
Acidophilus and Bifidus are good bacteria that are usually present in
healthy women's bodies. These bacteria naturally kill yeast and can
be found in yoghurts and supplements from health food shops. Douche
is also known to help yeast infections, which is a combination of
three tablespoons of vinegar with a quart of water. Also decreasing
your sugar intake can help to fight your infection.
These ways help to cure yeast infection but by all means are not the
best methods to use. Remember to be careful when looking for
treatments online. A lot aren't recommended and some can be
dangerous.

Vaginal itching - How many women have found them self in a situation
where the urge to relieve an itch around their private parts becomes
so unbearable that they had to leave the room to relieve the urge
(scratch) so not to cause embarrassment to them self or that of
others in their company. Remember ladies that trying to disguise the
discomfort by tightening the legs to squeeze the life out of the
vaginal itch is not the best approach to claim relief. If you attempt
this course of action then there is a strong possibility that an
onlooker may see you as doing the rumba, which is not really an
acceptable image of yourself if standing in a bus queue.
An itchy vagina can become painful if the skin around the affected
area is rubbed red raw through clawing. A tingling sensation and
irritation of the skin around the vagina.(vulva) is how the condition
is described Not only is vaginal itching annoying it tempts the
patient to scratch with aggression. Hygiene is profound; the hands
should be cleaned before scratching and after. Dirty finger nails
that tear the skin cause infection.
Causes behind vaginal itching are varied but most common known are
chemical irritants contained in certain products. Content based
chemicals that come in contact with the skin which encourage
irritation are detergents, fabric softeners, feminine sprays,
ointments, douches, contraceptive foams or jellies.
One recognized symptom of vaginal yeast infection is a discharge -
white in colour and curd-like texture. Known yeast infection causers
are antibiotics, birth control tablets, menstruation, pregnancy and
diabetes, even condom use and sexual intercourse. However use a
condom when engaging in sex. A weak immune system can make you
susceptible to infection.
Vaginitis means inflammation of the vagina, should you suffer from
the disorder then cause can be blamed on the presence of an
infection. Noticeable changes in your discharge i.e. smell and
colour, burning feeling in the vagina, discomfort when urinating or
during sex are all symptoms of vaginitis. A common cause is thrush
infection (a fungus -candida albicans).
Stress can increase vaginal itching making you more prone to
infection. A drop in estrogen causes thinning of the vaginal wall and
less lubrication while going through the menopause. Vaginal itching
can occur from one of the many named causes, however, determining
which cause is important so the appropriate medication is prescribed.
A rare reason for vaginal/vulva itch include: pin-worms, pin-worms
more often than not are parasites more known to affect children.
Keep the genital area clean and dry. Use unscented soap when washing.
Make sure smellies used to bathe in (bubble bath) contain no
irritants. Avoid perfumed feminine sprays and douches unless
packaging states otherwise.
Cotton knickers are safer to wear than panties made from synthetic
materials. Cleanse your self by wiping from front to back after using
the toilet (vagina to anus).
It is easier said than done but do try to avoid scratching,
scratching can aggravate. Even more difficult for some is to ration
the passion, abstain from sexual encounters until the symptoms
disappear. Yeast infections are not directed towards being sexually
transmitted. The yeast infection is also known to affect men
following sexual contact causing itching and redness.
Despite what you believe may be the right medication bought from the
chemist to treat you`re infection, it is best to consult a doctor
first. Seek medical advice if you notice signs of vaginal bleeding
when not menstruating, swelling or detect a repulsive vaginal odor. A
burning sensation when urinating or other urinary symptoms may be
urinary tract infection. Antifungal drugs are normally prescribed for
yeast infections.
Antibiotics in most cases are prescribed for bacterial vaginal
infections and some sexually transmitted diseases, however, if
protection is used it lessens the odds of catching an STD and also an
unwanted pregnancy of which will definitely highlight the vagina for
the next nine
months.

The history of yeast has always been woven with that of the human
race. Yeast has fermented the wine that celebrate the joys of life,
and lifted the bread that sustains continents. But it has also caused
misery for millions. That's because of the uneasy relationship we
have with these tiny organisms. You see yeasts live in all our
bodies, usually in symbiotic harmony. Unfortunately, that balance is
easily disrupted leading to a host of physical and mental miseries.
Here's a look at why you need to deal with your yeast infection.
Infection with yeast, usually candida albicans, generally starts in
the digestive system. They normally inhabits our digestive tract,
intestines as an integral part of the bowel flora. Under certain
conditions such as stress, lowered immunity or excessive use of
steroids or antibiotics, candida can multiply out of control. This
overgrowth of yeast can cause bloating, acid reflux, heartburn. Apart
from the discomfort of these candida symptoms, there's also a problem
of reduced absorption of nutrients.
Then what's worse, candida can change to a fungus with roots. These
roots can penetrate the intestinal wall resulting in leaky gut
syndrome. Allow the fungus to spread to other parts of your body.
Candida can spread to the vagina and prostate gland, as well as major
organs such as the heart, lungs, or liver. Candida also produces over
70 toxic substances that wreak havoc on our tissues and organs. The
result is a baffling array of physical and psychological symptoms.
The result is an array of unpleasant symptoms including depression,
mood swings and anxiety, allergies, acne, urinary infections,
fatigue...The list of miseries caused by candida infection is almost
endless. And there's worse to come.
When yeast spreads over your body like this, the condition is known
as systemic. Systemic candidiasis is very hard to eradicate. Your
only solution is the application of a holistic system that not only
banishes the candida, but also prevents it from ever coming back.
Effective treatment for candida albicans requires a holistic approach
that allows the whole body to fight back and regain control of your
inner
balance.

Yeast infections, also called "Candida infections," typically are
caused by the Candida albicans fungus. Vaginitis is very common and
is reported by as many as 75% of women at some point in their lives.
Vaginitis can be caused by a number of infections, including bacteria
(such as Gardnerella and gonorrhea), protozoans (such as
trichomonas), and yeast (Candida). Yeast infection is often referred
to as Candidiasis. Candidiasis is not considered a transmitted
disease. However, 12% to 15% of men will develop symptoms such as
itching and penile rash following contact with an infected partner.
Yeast infections may also occur in association with diabetes or
problems that affect the immune system. The increased hormone level
causes changes in the environment that make it perfect for fungal
growth and nourishment. Women with immune-suppressing diseases such
as diabetes and HIV infection also are at increased risk.
Yeast infections that return may be a sign of more serious diseases
such as diabetes, leukemia, or aids. Yeast infections that return may
be a sign of more serious diseases such as diabetes, leukemia, or
AIDS. Yeast infections occur when new yeast is introduced into the
area, or when there is an increase in the quantity of yeast already
present in the relative to the quantity of normal bacteria yeast
infections can also occur as a result of injury to the inner, such as
after chemotherapy. Also, women with suppressed immune systems (for
example those taking cortisone-related medications such as
prednisone) develop yeast infections (yeast vaginitis) more
frequently than women with normal immunity. Other conditions that may
predispose women to developing yeast infections include diabetes
mellitus, pregnancy, and taking oral contraceptives.
Sometimes, mixed infections with more than one microbe can require
combinations of treatments. Topically applied antifungal creams
include butoconazole, clotrimazole (Lotrimin), miconazole (Monistat),
and terconazole. The over-the-counter topical treatments are an
option for some women when yeast is the cause of the infection. Yeast
infections that return may be a sign of more serious diseases such as
diabetes, leukemia, or aids. Sometimes, mixed infections with more

applied antifungal creams include butoconazole, clotrimazole
(Lotrimin), miconazole (Monistat), and terconazole. Clotrimazole
(Lotrimin, Mycelex), miconazole (Monistat; Micatin), terconazole
(Terazol), and nystatin (Mycostatin) are other antifungal medications
that are also available as tablets.
Yeast Infection Treatment Tips
1. Keep you area clean, being sure to wash the area when you shower.
2. After a shower or bath, make sure your area is completely dry
before getting dressed.
3. Wear cotton underpants and pantyhose with a cotton crotch.
4. Avoid sharing towels and washcloths.
5. Wash your under garments in hot water and skip the fabric softener
in the dryer.
6. Avoid clothing that is tight in the crotch.
7. Always change out of your exercise clothes or swimsuit immediately
after working out or swimming.
8. Avoid using heavily scented soaps, perfumes and talcum powder.
9. Eat a diet high in vegetables, protein and grains as well as
consuming yogurt that has live acidophilus bacteria; avoid processed
foods, sugars and alcohol.
10. Always use a water soluble lubricating
gel.

A vaginal yeast infection is a terrible problem, it is painful and
irritating.strong inflammation in vaginal or a frequent itching
feeling in underarms, between fingers, all these are painful and
unbearable. It was assumed right from the offset that women only are
infected from yeast infection. This however is not to be reckon with,
studies have shown that yeast infection also attack men, women as
well as teenagers.
Do female teen yeast infection treatments really work? Yes some of
the female teen yeast infection treatments can cure. I have my
teenage younger sister that tried various teen yeast infection cures.
Unluckily every teen yeast infection cure that she used did not give
result as expected.Which simply means most of the female teen yeast
infection cures that were tried failed
However there are many types of yeast infection treatment
prescription and over the counter medications now available.Although
these treatments may provide the sufferer with the desired results,
it is important that the underlying causes of any yeast infection be
looked first.Such anti-fungal drugs which are used for the treatment
of yeast include topical clotrimazole, topical nystatin, fluconazole
and topica ketoconazole.Whilst in those who are suffering from more
severe yeast infection then they may as well use amphotencinB,
caspofungin or voricanzole.Often a sufferer will be provided with
local treatments which includes vaginal suppositones or medicated
douches.
So whether you intend to use over the counter, prescribed but yet
there is a yeast infection treatment now available which suit your
want needs don't continue to suffer from a yeast

Subject: Yeast Infection In Men - The Band Aid Theory Doesn't Stick
ufcvekialrin

What is Band-Aid Theory? Band Aid Theory has found a home in the
medical language and is thrown around in discussions about
Candidiasis, commonly known as thrush or yeast infection. But what is
this theory, really? Does the prevalence in Candidiasis treatment
debate even touch on the lesser-known subject of yeast infection in
men?
The band-aid theory is what the name implies in the role of treating
injuries. Let's say you get in a biking accident and scrape your knee-
its standard procedure to cover the wound with a band-aid. Time goes
by and after a couple of days later- poof it's all better!
It seems that the band-aid magically healed you. In truth the band-
aid role was minimal in your recovery. Water (H2O) cleaned your
wound, the disinfectant is killed germs- and encouraged recovery, and
time allowed flesh to recuperate. And the band-aid? It merely covered
the wound, allowing it to quickly heal. That's it. The band-aid
played a superficial part in recovery.
That attribute is how the band-aid theory is linked to yeast
infection. When a physician diagnoses soreness and irritation on the
head of the penis as penile yeast infection, drugs are normally
recommended to treat the condition. The drugs address the irritation
of the penis, another yeast infection in men, or the white discharge
typical of a Candida yeast infection. The drugs play a very small
role in actually curing the yeast infection in men.
Doctor's prescriptions normally produce good results, but they do not
last. This is because the root of the problem is not cured: the cause
why the patient has penile yeast infection in the first place.
Symptoms improve and it may seem that the yeast infection in men has
subsided, but this is only temporary. Visible symptoms may disappear
but yeast infection in men can easily be hidden and seem like it has
been cured.
The Band-Aid theory begs a question: if the medication only targets
the symptoms- is yeast infection in men permanent? Yeast infection in
its simplicity is a flaw in the bodily function, the answer lies in
the holistic view of health.
Looking at the infection is not an isolated condition, but simply a
trigger in a larger system- the human body. The human body is always
focusing on getting healthier and the body will respond to the
infection and try to get rid of it. Which means that the holistic
approach to health will have longer lasting benefits.
This explains why natural treatment of yeast infection is growing.
Experts know that yeast infection in men should not be cured with a
band-aid. Click here for more information on yeast infection in
men.

Male yeast infections can occur in just the same places that women
will get it- with the exception of the vagina of course! But, as with
the rest of the information, I'm not talking primarily of the yeast
infections that can occur elsewhere on the body, but instead of the
type of yeast infections that can occur on the genital area. Now
since men don't have a vagina, and therefore can't harbor or breed
the Candida Albicans bacteria in their vagina, it falls to the factor
of transference for men to get yeast infections. Since this falls
into the Causes category and since that's the next section of the
Book and also since you probably don't want to read the same thing
twice over, we can now go to that section.
Although there can be a few different reasons for men to get yeast
infections, the most common reason is due to transferal through
sexual intercourse. If their sexual partner has a yeast infection,
then a man has a chance of also contracting a yeast infection. As I
said earlier, this is not a matter of sexually transmitted diseases.
Yeast infections can be transmitted through sexual intercourse, but
that doesn't mean that the other person will get it. In the case of
male yeast infections, there's only a 12-15% chance that they will
get it f their partner has a yeast infection. And once you do get it
there's also the chance that you can pass it back to your sexual
partner and get it back again as well. That's why it's always a good
idea to abstain from having sexual relations while you have a yeast
infection.
Symptoms
Symptoms of male yeast infections will be similar to those of vaginal
yeast infections. There will be some differences but for the most
part they are similar.
_ Itching of the penis
_ Burning sensation of the tip of the penis
_ Red rash on your penis
_ Burning sensation when urinating
And just as the symptoms for male yeast infections are the same or
similar to those of female yeast infections, the cures are also the
same or similar. Very obviously there are some things that you can't
do in the case of cures, like the use of suppositories for instance.
But you can adapt just about all of the other cures to suit you. You
might also want to ask your doctor about prescription medications and
over the counter medications.
In the case of over the counter medications you might definitely want
to ask your doctor first about whether you can use them as well, or
whether you need to go in for something
different.

Subject: Will A Yeast Infection During Pregnancy Harm The Baby?
ufcvekialrin

Becoming pregnant is a joyous experience with the ability to
introduce a new human life into the world. With the good comes the
potential for the bad as well though. Yeast infections are gradually
developing into a major concern as it is becoming increasingly
apparent in individuals. Studies have shown that yeast infections
during pregnancy are even more common than before.
It is scary to think that 80 percent of women will have a yeast
infection at least once in their life. Then you consider that women
are more susceptible to a yeast infection during pregnancy than any
other time in their life. To narrow it down even further, during the
second trimester of pregnancy is when studies have shown the most
yeast infections become apparent.
The reason yeast infections during pregnancy are so common is because
of the ups and downs your body is experiencing hormonally. The more
acidic your vaginal pH level is the better chance you have of
fighting off a yeast infection. However, during the second trimester
there is an increase of sugar in vaginal secretions. This causes a
great deal of growth in the baby and gives way to an increased amount
of sugar for yeast to feed on.
While there has been no evidence showing that a yeast infection
during pregnancy can harm the baby, it certainly makes things
unpleasant. Because of the fact that you are pregnant, the amount of
drugs normally used to treat the infection is limited. With the
decrease in drugs, it takes longer to get rid of the infection and
will make things that much more unpleasant.
The best way to assure yourself that your baby is not born with a
defect and does not become damaged by the yeast infection during
pregnancy is to treat it as soon as possible. If you go without
treating the infection for too long, the infection can be passed on
to the baby through the mouth.
There are various treatment methods to choose from, but a simple over-
the-counter and prescription cream of some sort. As mentioned, it is
best if you try to avoid a high amount of medications while pregnant
for the good of the baby.
Being pregnant is a pain itself, which is why it is troubling to see
such high numbers of women dealing with yeast infections during
pregnancy. For the sake of your baby, if you limit the amount of
medications you use to treat the infection and act quickly, the baby
should not be affected whatsoever. Overall, it will take between one
to three weeks to completely heal you from a yeast infection during
pregnancy.

Subject: Is Yeast Infection In Man A Reality? - A 'Candidly' Frank Appraissel
ufcvekialrin

What is the question that many men consider amusing , particularly
when very few have an inkling about the subject?
"Can man get yeast infection?"
The ailment, also known Candidiasis, is a fungal infection mistakenly
believed to prevail only in the female of the species. As it is
commonly located in the vaginal canal and its classical symptoms
include vaginal itching, yeast infection in man could be seen as a
somewhat humerous subject. that is until a guy contracts it and
realizes that the opposite is definately the case!
The very nature of the candida fungus is a mystery to most men.
Gender does not enter the equation as the fungus targets the parts of
the body that are moist, warm and exposed. Although commonly found in
the vagina, it can also be found in the mouth and on the penis. With
penile yeast infection, itching, soreness and a burning sensation are
all symptoms. The white vaginal discharge that is common to female
sufferers can also appear as a symptom of yeast infection in man.
Although odourless, this is scant consolation to the male sufferer
who sufferers with this penile discharge along with other symptoms at
the same time.
The chances of yeast infection in man are much less than those of our
female counterparts; although this does not comfort those men who are
already sufferers. Due to candida being more common in women so are
the treatments available to them. Much more medical research has been
conducted into this 'feminine' infection. Subsequently, effective
treatments for male sufferers are rare. Also, as the physical
symptoms of yeast infection in man are sometimes not evident, any
treatments proffered can be too little, too late - thus of no benefit.
Other than a dramatic yeast infection prevention programme , the best
opportunity for infected men is to consider natural methods to combat
their condition. (Prescribed medications are often female-specific
thus leading to the possibility of unpleasant side-effects!) However,
on a more positive note, changing to a yeast infection diet can be
more effective. Cutting out certain types of food will actually fight
the yeast infection and assist in the recovery process. Although
yeast infection in man is uncommon, it is completely natural and so
are the most effective methods to fight
it.

Subject: Vaginal Odour - Smelly Pee Makes Pubic Hair Go Public

All women suffer from vaginal odour; however what type of vaginal
odour is a different matter. Although we talk of odour the vagina is
not an organ of the body known to smell. In fact it is odourless. How
is the smell justified asks millions of affected and bewildered women
that oust smells from a supposedly non smelly orifice. Confusion sets
in for many women who assume vaginal odor is a natural function of
their body. How can this be if the vagina is odourless? Well ladies
not wanting to burst your bubble "odourless organ" or not, vaginas do
smell because of causes.
If vaginal odour is caused through an infection then it can affect
your health. Infections need to be treated with medication; one side
affect from an infection is an itch. An itchy vagina not only is
embarrassing and discomforting but more so if in the company of
friends. The difference between an itch around the vagina, or an itch
on your back you can not reach can be relieved by a friend. (Need I
say more?)
How can vaginal odours happen if the vagina is not a smelly organ,
this is a question raised by many a bemused candidate. Causes which
are nominated as the culprit to why vaginal odour occurs are due to
bacteria and parasites entering the vagina. One common odour women
relate to below is often referred to as smelling like fish. Bacterial
vaginosis is normally the reason for the 'fishy' odour excreted from
the vagina. Bacterial vaginosis will need medical attention to rid
the infection hence taking the fishy odour with it.
Hygiene is most profound to prevent/rid particular vaginal odours.
One type of smell rises from not washing the private parts
thoroughly. Urine if not rinsed away after peeing can get stronger.
If pubic hair is moistened by pee then the urine turns stale (rancid)
therefore causing a more noticable stench to become more public which
can be very embarrassing when in a crowd
Did you know that the vagina is self cleaning and aside from the fact
that it is an odourless organ, then, why do vaginal odours cause such
a stink among women (excuse the pun) wanting to rid their pong?
Although the vagina is self cleaning, bacteria and parasites still
manage to settle in the vagina thus causing infection which then
causes vaginal odor.
The vagina and surrounding skin is very sensitive so be careful when
using products to clean the area, Remember if you have a vaginal
infection, then no matter how much you wash will not rid the smell.
Cleaning the vulva needs nothing more than water. Consult with the
pharmacist about any product you tend on using to clear up an
infection because they may contain chemicals.
Natural oils can be stripped from the vulva through inept chemical
use on the skin leaving it dry and often irritated. Because of this
it leaves the smelly affected area more prone to infection. Chemical
contact with the vagina can be extremely dangerous causing urinary
tract infections if permitted to enter the urethra. Never use creams
and lotions recommended by others because what works for one may not
for the other. Medical conditions need to be determined for the right
treatment to be prescribed.
Chemical based products can upset the natural PH of the vagina. The
outcome of this which then results in an overgrowth of anaerobic
bacteria, genital mycoplasmas, and gardnerella vaginalis, with
reduced or absent lactobacilli. If you have a smelly vaginal odour
that gives you reason for concern or notice change in colour of
discharge, the amount you lose texture and thickness, feel pain when
urinating or see vaginal bleeding when not menstruating, then you
must talk to your doctor.
The cure for vaginal odour is in the
cause.

Women wear thongs for many reasons. Apart from being sleazy, women
like thongs because you can't see their panty lines. Yes, thongs are
gorgeous. Yes, they look sexy on women but they should come with a
warning label.
Many gynaecologists in the US have found that yeast infections are
common amongst women who wear thongs. A fungus called Candida
albicans causes vaginal yeast infections. Although it is not life-
threatening, they can be very uncomfortable.
Thongs are harmful because they irritate and inflame the area around
the Bartholin's glands, which produce lubricant during intercourse.
If the ducts that lead to the glands get hemmed, you could also
develop a cyst next to your vagina. Simply put, thongs irritate the
vagina and not allowing it enough air or space. Thongs can also cause
small lacerations which can invite infections.
Worse, the small string on a thong allows the anus and vagina to be
connected with each other. The thong as a link will carry bacteria
from the rectum straight to your vagina. Bacteria such as group B
Streptococcal disease and E.coli can be passed into both the anus and
vagina.
Former top model, Elle Macpherson, was reported in the media to have
said:
"Thongs are not only uncomfortable but unsanitary and dangerous.
Women who persist in wearing them are risking infection and
infertility."
Tips on Thongs:

Do not wear your thongs 24 hours each day.

Make sure your thongs are not super-tight.

Do not wear thongs made of spandex, lycra and nylon.

Wear only thongs made of cotton.

Do not sleep in thongs or other tight panties overnight. There is
still movement during your sleep and this can agitate areas of the
vagina and the anus in women.

Doctors get tens of millions of patients visit them for bacterial
infections every year. Doctors have one cure for any type of
bacterial infection, and that's antibiotics. It doesn't matter what
is causing the infection the treatment is always the same. What these
patients don't know is, what the antibiotics are doing to their
bodies. The only weapon a doctor has against any bacterial infection
is antibiotics. If you are suffering from your first bacterial
infection then the antibiotics should do the job they were intended
for. It's when you're prescribed numerous courses that your body can
start showing signs of overuse.
One of the first signs is more bacterial or fungal infections. The
main one being yeast infections. When you take antibiotics over an
extended period of time your body eventually loses all of its
friendly bacteria. Your friendly bacteria is your body's natural
defense against bacterial and fungal infections. Also the continual
use of antibiotics causes the infection causing bacteria and fungus
to become immune to the antibiotics.
When the antibiotics have killed off all of your friendly bacteria
your body is a perfect place for the Candida Albicans yeast to mutate
into its fungal form. Without any natural defense the Candida yeast
finds it easy to mutate into a fungus. It will also be a stronger
fungus than usual because it will have started to mutate against all
of the antibiotic use. This is the Candida own defense against anti
fungal drugs, it will learn to mutate so the drugs soon become
ineffective.
The Candida yeast loves sugar, and our modern diets are high in sugar
and refined carbohydrates. With all this food for the yeast, the
mutated Candida soon makes a home in your body. Candida survives
better in warm moist places, these include Your vagina, under folds
of skin, your mouth, your intestines and your
feet.

Subject: Symptoms of Yeast Infection in Women - 5 Signs
tmwxygycjnqv

A yeast infection can be itchy, painful and very inconvenient. If you
think you may have a yeast infection, here are 5 signs to look for
that can provide further clues about your condition.
What it Is:
A yeast infection is a condition whereby the natural yeasts in your
vagina or other areas of your body begin to flourish more than usual
due to an imbalance in the delicate ecology of your body.
The causes for such imbalance can be many and can include external
agents like soaps and perfumes or internal agents like eating excess
sugar or excessive moisture. Yeast tends to grow out of control when
your body's pH balance is disrupted or if certain bacteria that
normally keep yeast levels to a minimum are destroyed due to an
external influence. Yeasts can also grow out of control after being
overfed by sugars for people who have excessively sugary diets.
Signs You May be Infected:
You will often become aware of a having a possible yeast infection
when you notice intense, persistent itching in your vagina or vulva
areas.
Another sign is excessive vaginal dryness. In yeast infection cases,
this is caused by the yeast coating the walls of your vagina in such
a way that your normal lubrication process is impeded.
Some people with vaginal yeast infections experience vaginal
discharge. This is a white, odorless substance that may resemble
cottage cheese.
If sexual relations with your partner have become unexplainably
painful, this could also be the sign of a yeast infection.
Finally, if you experience a burning feeling during urination, this
could be a yeast infection.
Of course, any of these symptoms could also be the sign of other
maladies, so it is best to check with your doctor to be sure.
Treatments:
Treatments for yeast infection run the gamut from prescription drugs
to natural remedies. A common remedy is Diflucan, an antifungal
antibiotic that should only be taken to cure your yeast infection if
prescribed by your doctor.
Natural remedies are also readily available for people who want to
avoid medications or who are allergic to them. To find one that
works, search the Internet for reviews of trusted remedies or ask
friends which remedies have worked for them.
If you have any of the signs mentioned above, you could have a yeast
infection. There is no need to worry, however: yeast infections occur
for millions of women around the world every year. If you do have
one, it is best to get treatment right away with a prescription-based
or natural
remedy.

Subject: Is Monistat 7 Really a Good Yeast Infection Treatment?

If you are reading this you are probably familiar with yeast
infection symptoms and are looking for a way to get rid of it. You
will also agree with me that yeast infections are embarrassing and
sometimes very painful. Of course there are various solutions to get
rid of it. The medications are either in the form of home remedies,
prescription drugs and over the counter medicine like Monistat 7.
If you are interested in trying Monistat 7 you should be aware that
it comes in three formats or should I say dosage. First you can buy
Monistat 1 which is a one day treatment suppository. Then you have
Monistat 3 which you use for three consecutive nights and then there
is Monistat 7 which works in the same way. You should be aware that
all of those over the counter medicine contains nitrate and
miconazole.
By writing this article I really want to you be fully aware of what
could happen to you by using over the counter medicine like Monistat
7. Since this medication is in the form of a suppository that you
need to insert in your vagina I would highly recommend that you read
completely the various warnings that are provided with this medicine.
There as been claims of brutal and painful side effects related to
the use of this medication to treat your yeast infections.
Of course side effects vary from one person to another but some of
the worst side effect that comes back on a regularly basis are
intense itching and burning sensation. Some have even experienced
abdominal pain and bleeding. I would highly recommend consulting your
doctor before starting a full course of Monistat 7 treatment.
You probably heard of many people who told you that Monistat 7 helped
them get rid of their yeast infections maybe you are reading this
because of such people. But you should be aware that there is
probably an equal amount of women who suffered from severe and
intense torturous pain over the period of time they used Monistat 7.
Your doctor should be fully aware of the possible side effects that
may results from using Monistat 7. I highly suggest gathering as much
information as possible about Monistat 7, information such as the
dosage amount you need to take for the different product.
Here is an example of the kind of information you could gather before
seeing your doctor and before starting the treatment of course.
Monistat 7:
- Dosage = 20 Milligrams (one dose)- Inserted in the Vagina at
Bedtime- Need to be continued for seven consecutive nights
With this information your doctor should have enough information to
help you decide whether you should try it or not.
Another important thing you must be aware of with Monistat 7 is that
there is a period of usage. You can find these warnings within the
documentation given with the medication. If for any reason your yeast
infection is not cured after that period you should consult your
doctor. Your Doctor will then be able to inform you of other
medication that can help you get rid of you vaginal yeast
infection.

Subject: Where To Find A Best Natural Remedy That Work for Some Infection?

Using a natural remedy for infections is obviously the healthier and
often more effective choice, and there are many natural herbs that
are considered to be extremely effective in both the prevention and
treatment of infections. In fact, for the most part, any herbal
treatments that are used as a natural remedy for infections have been
used for centuries, and have had studies done to prove their
effectiveness.
Sinus Infection
To find a natural remedy for sinus infection, you may think is very
difficult, actually is not true. The appropriate products for a sinus
infection should be able to find at either your local regular grocery
store or health food shop. So, it is easy to find a nature remedy for
this type of infection.
The first offered is to use grapefruit seed extract (GSE). You can
use the grapefruit seed extract (GSE) by diluting it in warm water
and then putting it into a bottle or nasal sprayer. Next, use it to
spray up your nose every hour or so until your symptoms of sinus
infection begin to subside.
Another offered is the Rhinotip, which is a smooth plastic
attachment. It has been designed to fit over a jet tip wand of nearly
all dental irrigators. The unit should then be turned on to a not so
high, suitable and comfortable setting, in order to obtain cleansing,
rejuvenating, and circular irrigation through the nose openings. This
process is considered to be very useful as the nose is the entryway
to the sinuses and respiratory tract. Therefore, proper maintenance
of a healthy nasal environment is necessary to overall respiratory
health and sinus infection.
Sinus irrigation is another good solution, which is considered to be
an effective natural remedy for most sinus infection. This include
that of sinusitis infections, rhinitis, rhinorrhoea, postnasal drip,
nasal polyps, Wegener's, dry or blocked nose, allergies and hay
fever, catarrh as well as pain and headaches. As the ear, nose and
throat are all linked together; there can be a knock-on effect once
you start the process of cleaning and healing in even one of those
areas.
Yeast Infection
Whether it is a dislike for man-made chemicals or just plain
embarrassment, many women seek a natural remedy for a yeast
infection. They have several options to try, through some experts,
experimentation or some medically-backed information.
Yogurt is the number one recommended natural remedy for a yeast
infection; it is due the presence of lactobacillus acidophilus which
produces hydrogen peroxide which kills yeast. Most women using
yogurt, they just simply apply it directly into the vagina. Some
suggest to use or tampons or fingers of a rubber glove. The mentioned
method is an individual preference.
Next, by eating a lot of yogurt may be a better natural remedy for a
yeast infection. Why? This is because yogurt has shown results in
preventing the infection. But take note, before you try this
solution, use only unflavored and plain yogurt and make sure it
contains acidophilus.
Garlic is another natural treatment that has been recommended by some
experts. The preparing process is very simple. At night, wrapping a
peeled clove of garlic in gauze and inserting it into the vagina till
next morning. Remove it when you wake up, and it has shown to kill
yeast infections. For easy remove, you may want to tie a string
around the cloth, so to make pulling it out easier. If you choose to
use this natural treatment, make sure you don't knick the clove while
peeling off the Garlic skin.
Another recommendation is using tea tree oil. First, the upper part
of a tampon is coated with KY-Jelly. Next, ensure that tea tree oil
is absorbed into the cotton, then applying the oil and inserting it
into the vagina. Some people have reported that stinging if the oil
touches the outer areas of vagina.
Boric acid is also another useful natural remedy for a yeast
infection. Boric acid is a very strong treatment; it will stop the
growth of yeast infection. Some experts recommend using it as a
capsules form, filled with boric acid as suppositories for easy
consume.
Potassium sorbate and Brewing Beer are also used to stop the growth
of yeast infection. To apply, use a tampon dipped in potassium
sorbate solution inserts it into the vagina during bedtime and
removes it in the next morning. This method and all other options
should be continued apply until a day after the symptoms subside. If
you feel something is not correct or going wrong, consult your doctor
immediately.
Bladder Infections
In order to avoid getting a bladder infection, one has to taken out
certain means of prevention. There are: having adequate fluid intake,
taking showers not baths, genital areas prior to and after having
intercourse, practicing good hygiene, not resisting the urge to
urinate, cleaning and it has also been advocated that the natural
cranberry juice can reduce the incidence of a UTI.
UTI-Clear, it is a unique formula natural remedy for bladder
infections. It contains a total of 7 therapeutic herbs. It combines
several potent herbs in order to relieve the symptoms of cystitis,
urinary tract infections, and bladder infections. Only a few drops of
UTI-Clear can help to clear the bladder infection and stop it from
recurring repetitively. Children also can use this particular natural
remedy, and the results usually can see after or within one day time.
The key ingredients in UTI-Clear are: arctostaphylos uvs-ursi,
achillea millifolium, Melissa officinalis, agothosma betulina, avena
sativa, hypericum perforatum, vaccinium myrtillus and Echinacea
angustifolia.
Taking the proper precautions to prevent getting a bladder infection
and using a natural remedy for infection is the smartest and good
idea. Prevention is always better then
cures.

Subject: Should Normal "Vaginal Discharge" Look Like This?
ufcvekialrin
Offline Offline
Send Email Send Email

Vaginal discharge should give you no reason for concern; it is a
normal happening that women are accustomed too. Women on a daily
basis initiate a hygiene pact on the vagina and carry on regardless
in acceptance of their vaginal discharge being yet another natural
function of the body, and how right they are.
Vaginal discharge is a normal female body function in which the
vagina stays moist as part of the self-cleansing process. The vagina
releases a flow of discharge which helps remove dead cells and
bacteria. By normal discharge we mean the amount lost, colour and
smell, these reasons help determine whether the vaginal discharge is
normal or not.
Discharge comes from glands in the cervix and is slightly acidic
which is important for keeping the vagina healthy, preventing
infections. The acidity results from lactic acid, formed by friendly
bacteria as they break down sugars. Infections need medical
attention, talk to your doctor so they can prescribe the appropriate
medication to treat the infected area which may be the cause of
offending odours.
Women tend to differ - so vaginal discharge may vary. Some women
found that the week following their period there is hardly any
discharge, and what is noticeable, is of a thick consistency. Towards
the middle of menstruation the amount of vaginal discharge can
increase and is normally described in appearance as thin, slimey and
clear.
During pregnancy vaginal discharge can get heavier. Sexual
intercourse is another prime time where discharge is expected to
increase, sexual pleasures causing excitement for the female can also
cause generous amounts of vaginal discharge, this happens because two
glands near the vaginal opening secrete additional slippery mucus,
which acts as a lubricant for intercourse. Do not be embarrassed if
you suffer from this condition because you are not alone. It helps to
talk about health worries so confide in a girlfriend about your
concerns, who at some time may have suffered the same problem;
however, this is not the best approach to cure a vaginal infection if
you have one.
Symptoms that show signs of in-normality are a fishy smell, a white
curd like texture (thickness), itchiness or pain. Abdominal pain or
discomfort when having sexual intercourse is not normal so make an
appointment with your doctor for an examination so they can determine
what is causing your discomfort. Unusual timely sightings of specks
of blood in your vaginal discharge can imply that an infection may be
present.
Genital sore/ ulcers should not go untreated. Aside from the vagina
early detection of any unusual lumps on other parts of the body will
increase the odds of survival should a deadly disease occur like
cancer. One condition common among women with the above mentioned
symptoms is bacterial vaginosis. Others causes can be thrush,
trichomoniasis and not using fresh tampons. Poor hygiene causes
vaginal odours. Some women believe that the vagina naturally smells -
when in fact it is an odourless organ of the body.
Not all smelly vaginal discharges are due to the thrush infection; it
is more directed towards bacterial vaginosis. Thrush is caused by the
yeast Candida albicans. Itching is a common symptom. At the time of
menstruation regularly remove soiled tampons. Tampons swell and
fester if left to long inside the vagina. The thrush infection is
easily treated. If you notice your vaginal discharge is thick white
and causing you to itch - then there is a strong possibility that you
have thrush, however a definite prognosis can only be sanctioned by
your
doctor.

The causes of yeast infections can be quite numerous. Candida,
commonly called yeast infection, is actually already present in most
people. It is only when uncontrolled bacterial growth occurs that the
symptoms of yeast infections will rear their ugly heads. This usually
results from a decrease in other naturally occurring bacteria that
keeps candida in check, or a weakening of the immune system.
Some other common causes are known to be anything that causes some
kind of internal disturbance -- the use of douches or detergents,
oral contraceptives, pregnancy, and using lubricants that contain
glycerin. Even such things as wet swimsuits and pantyhose have been
suspected as culprits in causing the symptoms of yeast infections.
Candida will grow more quickly in moist and warm environments. It can
also be sexually transmitted between unprotected partners. In some
animals, deficient nutrition has been linked to the symptoms of yeast
infections, as well as infertility treatments and hormone replacement
therapy.
When it comes to the actual diagnose of yeast infection, some of the
symptoms can actually be considered quite normal for some women. This
is the reason why many yeast infections go undiagnosed, or not even
noticed at all. If you suspect that you do have a yeast infection,
you should definitely see your doctor if you are unsure.
Some of the more common symptoms are as follows:
? Vaginal itching/soreness
? A thick, white-ish discharge that has a yeast odor
? burning during urination
? Painful sexual intercourse
? Premature aging
? Arthritis
? Depression
? Chronic Rashes
? Tiredness or Fatigue
? Poor Memory
? Irritability
? Joint Pain or Swelling
? PMS
? Feeling Rundown
? Digestive pain
? And many more
So as you can see, there are a great many possible symptoms of yeast
infections. Men too can suffer from yeast infections, and just like
women, they can have symptoms that are not very noticeable.
Luckily, yeast infections can be successfully cured. However, you
need to be aware of which treatments are harmful and which are safe
and effective. Even more importantly you need to find a treatment
that will cure the infection permanently, and not just treat your
symptoms. Otherwise your yeast infection will continually come back
to haunt
you.

Life is too short to waste it in getting the treatment for our
physical problems. So, wake up and make some efforts on your own to
get a new life. Why to visit a doctor when you can get rid of
something on your own. Read this..... and get a new YOU!
Things to be Avoided
1. long meal gaps- Do not deprive your stomach of food for a long time
2. contraceptives- Do not take birth control pills as intake of
contraceptives leads to an increased risk for developing yeast
infections. This is because oral contraceptives are the major cause
behind the increase in the glycogen (sugar in your body) in your
vagina. And this increase in the sugar in your body feeds the yeast
growth in your vagina.
3. wrong foods- Avoid the consumption of foods that are heavy, sour
and indigestible if you really want to treat yeast infection
4. strong smell- Do not use the feminine deodorant sprays and other
perfumed products as they irritate your skin and make it dry and
tender encouraging the yeast growth
5. careless douching- And for heaven sake, be very careful while
douching. Do not take it so casually as your vagina is the most
sensitive organ of your body.
6. wet vagina- Never let your vagina stay wet for long as this
encourages the growth of yeast in your vagina.
7. tight undies- Do not wear tight undies or pants. Let your genitals
breathe and treat yeast infection.
8. synthetic fibers- Stay miles away from nylon or synthetic panties.
Things to be done
1. cool bath- Cool baths or cold water are the things that can work
wonders for you. So, go for these and get relieved from itching with
this tip.
2. cotton- Wear cotton panties and pants loose enough to let your
genital organs breathe.
3. daily wash- Make it a routine to wash your vaginal and genital
area at least once a day with plain water or you can also use a mild,
non-perfumed soap. Rinse your vagina well and dry it thoroughly.
4. treatment- Get you and your partner treated even if one of you is
the sufferer. What happens normally, is that men harbor yeast
organisms, especially in the foreskin of their penis, but show no
symptoms. When one partner is getting treated for a yeast infection,
it is expected from the other to get treated at the same time as well
to avoid life-long genital disease.
5. safe sex- Use Condoms while love-making to prevent your yeast
infection getting worse. Even if you are using contraceptive pills,
you are to use condoms.
6. a balanced diet- And most of all, go for a balanced diet to keep
your body healthy and help you to maintain a normal balance of
organisms in your
vagina.

Yeast infections affect millions of women each year, and most women
will have at least one yeast infection during their lifetime. They
are the result of an overabundance of what is a naturally-present
yeast in the vagina due to an imbalance caused by some external
agent. It can also be caused having ingested substances like
antibiotics or by eating high-sugar diets.
Here are common yeast infection signs.
Burning feeling during urination: Excessive yeast can get into your
urethra, potentially causing an intense burning feeling during
urination. This symptom can often be very acute and painful.
Itchy vagina: A yeast infection is the result of an imbalance of the
natural flora in your vagina. One result of this imbalance is that
the yeast may block production of normal secretions which keep your
vagina moist. Your vagina or vulva may become itchy and dry as a
result.
White Discharge: If you notice a discharge around the mouth of or
inside your vagina, this could be indicative of a yeast infection.
The discharge would likely be white and look a bit like cottage
cheese. This discharge will likely be odorless, but do not let this
fool you: it could mean you have a yeast infection.
Painful Sexual Intercourse: If sex has become painful lately, this
could also be the result of a yeast infection. The yeast coats the
walls of your vagina, causing a painful sensation when foreign bodies
enter the area.
Of course, any of these symptoms could indicate some problem other
than a yeast infection. It is a good idea to check with your doctor
to verify your concern.
In terms of treatment options, there are prescription medicines that
can cure your yeast infection. Receiving these of course requires a
visit your doctor. In addition, there are safe and very effective
natural remedies that can work as well or better than prescriptions
and that you can get yourself, without a
prescription.

Subject: How Can I Cure A Candida Infection?

Candida infection is one of the most ordinary illnesses mostly
because of our way of life. Physicians and experts have convinced us
for some time now that candida infections has a lot to do with
weighing too much. Reports have shown that 2/3 of overweight people
are sick from candida. If you come to term with your infection, you
can also help your extra kilos.
So, how do I know if I suffer from a candida infection?
Discomfort during urination is a common one, along with intense
vaginal and skin yeast infections. To have irritable bowl and gas
usually comes with an infection, a symptom that can be really
uncomfortable and irritating. Some really scary symptoms I myself
suffered from was giddiness and fatigue, a symptom that is quite
unspecific. I went several times to the physician because of those
symptoms, and they couldn't find anything wrong with me. I thought I
had everything from eye problems to a cancer. It was not nice to feel
like a neurotic hypochondriac, but as soon i started the candida
medication I knew that this was what had caused the giddiness. I
haven't suffered from it since.
Once you start to cure your infection, with diets and herbs, the
symptoms can show up even more intensely for some days in the
beginning, and you can be extremely exhausted. This normally goes
away after a some days, but since it's extremely energy consuming, it
can be a good idea to not have too much to do during the start of
your cure. have in mind that in the end, you will feel much better
and will regain your energy.
Candida grows from the bowel as a normal part of the bacterial flora,
but when overgrowth begins, it affects the whole immune system and
can really effect your life fundamentally, with thrush fungal
infections and more. Many women get outbreaks of thrush during their
periods because candida feeds itself in progesterone.
You can really be ill from it, with fatigue or recurring yeast
infections that are a affecting your life a lot. The symptoms can be
treated with several over the counter medication, but that means that
the bowel candida itself is not cured, and the discomfort are going
to appear again after some time.
Besides from the symptoms above, candida can be diagnosed with blood
test by a physician.
When you know it's candida you have, start with a treatment that will
cure the root cause of it. A sugar and fungus free diet is the most
effective way to kill the infection permanently. It's also important
to take some herbs for a complete result. Garlic is one of those,
plain vitamin-c and psyllium seeds will clean the bowel and push the
yeast out of your intestines. There are some really effective ways of
treating infections, and you truly can be free of all those annoying
and energy consuming symptoms and get you a better, more energetic
life, you really don't have to stay
ill!
