How many times have you been to the Doctor for some ailment that
ended in you getting yet another prescription to fill? How many times
have you had to make yet another trip to the pharmacy to get more
medication to try and control, but not eliminate the problem? I am
sure we have all been in this boat before. The one that keeps taking
us back to the same port.
You are probably here because you want a natural remedy for your
yeast infection. First things first though, how do you know if you
have it? What are some of the symptoms of a yeast infection?
If you are having any type of pain during urination, some form of
discharge from the vagina, an itching or burning sensation in or
around your vagina or are experiencing pain during sex, there is a
good possibility that you may have a yeast infection. If you are
experiencing any of the previously mentioned symptoms, it may not be
a bad idea to visit your Doctor, as those could be signs of other
problems such as a sexually transmitted disease.
Yeast infections are usually caused by a fungus that is normally
found in small amounts in your vagina. If you have had the following
symptoms, have visited your Doctor and have found that you do in fact
have a yeast infection there are several natural remedies you can try.
You can try a probiotic suppository. This can be taken orally or
inserted in your vagina. The probiotic suppository has been shown to
put off the growth of harmful things such as the fungus that causes
yeast infections.
Another natural remedy that has been used is tea tree oil. Although
there is not enough literature to support it, there has been some
success in using tea tree oil topically on the vagina to remedy a
yeast infection. This should be used with caution and consulted with
your physician, as the full strength of tea tree oil should never be
used.
