There's something richly satisfying about an ice-cold shake on a
sizzling summer day — until you think about what it's doing to your
diet. But that doesn't mean you can't cool down with a frothy
beverage when the weather heats up.
Here are some easy ways to create your own signature summer drinks
that are delicious but won't ruin your weight-loss plan. Check them

For smoothies, combine yogurt with fat-free or low-fat milk.
Consider doctoring up seltzer water with a splash of juice.
Try adding soft tofu to your fruity blended shakes for a protein
boost.
Spruce up your favorite caffeine-free diet soda with a scoop of fat-
free ice cream or frozen yogurt.
Add ice to fruit-based smoothies (before blending them).
