Those of us who live with this constant pain, regardless of the type of
pain it would be, don't always have a reason we can voice in regard to
writing. I've been writing since I was a kid. Poetry, romantic
suspense, ministry, I've been writing all of those for an age or more.
I write because I have to, no matter what. I cannot, quite literally,
cannot write anything these days by hand, with a pen or pencil, without
hurting like nothing I remember experiencing years ago.
I also know when it is time to stop writing via the computer keyboard.
I haven't worked with the voice recorder method yet, for myself anyway,
because I simply think faster than I can spit the words out, and until
I can learn how the technology could "read my thoughts", well, you see
where that one is going, LOL.
My strength in writing is that it is something I need to put on paper.
It may be computerized, but paper is paper. It is something that must
be done, and it must be done right then when it is thought of. Call it
inspiration or whatever, I call it my desire to stave off THE FOG.
