Description

"The greatest evil is physical pain" (St. Augustine of Hippo).
Post Operative Acute Pain is something that every patient has, unless it is treated well.
One of the "best" treatments is to keep the patient "anesthetized" until 2-3 days after the operation...since during anesthesia the patient does not feel pain (unless he/she is a victim of awareness...).
Another option is the new modality of WOUND ANALGESIA CATHETER INJECTION.
This website is devoted to serve this new modality as a database as well as a Forum for Anesthesiologists, Surgeons and Patients to discuss it in order to make it the State of the Art in Post Operative Acute Pain, since it is really the "GREATEST EVIL".
