"When I have symptoms that cannot be explained, I would begin looking at
the prescriptions and dosage. A pharmacist will be far more
knowledgeable as to side effects or negative interactions with other
prescriptions or herbal supplements. If that doesn't give any insight,
then I think a visit to her cardiologist would be worthy of an
ultrasound followed by a CT scan of the heart. I hope this helps.

Is she pre diabetic? Does she get enuf complex carbs and protein divided in
the day? what time does the low b.s.happen? that could be a clue. Is she
anemic? Low hemoglobin which carries oxygen could play a role. My husband
gets vey sleepy and low heart rate and blood Pressure when his potassium is
low due to diuritics leaching out potasium from his body. Perhaps some blood
tests to check these.
hope these ideas lead you to an answer.

Subject: [Women with SCI] Help! Can't find out why mother has
dangerously low blood pressure
Hi, I'm taking care of my my mother C3/C4 complete and she keeps
running into problems with her blood pressure tanking. I've had to take
her to the hospital two times and she would have died if I hadn't, it
was 48/34 when she went unconcious. Also, low oxygen level and high
fever. Anyone on this site taking care of a loved one run into this
problem, if so, what caused it? Any info would be appreciated.
