Hi Rebecca,
I have been lucky that I have not had to move since my injury. I bought my first
home 13 months before my accident.  I have done so many renovations and have
made the house very accessible.  I have been in the cellar once but having
someone carry me down the STEEP, RICKETY stairs was too stressful.  Can get
everywhere else in the house.  Whether I chose to is another story. I figure
that when I do finally move I will sell the house with everything in it.  I can
not imagine packing up everything.
Like you my family does not live close by. They don't even live in the state. I 
have made great friends who are really helpful when I need their help.    I do
miss my family and talk to my parents everyday.

Thanks! Completed my final, he hasn't graded it yet!! so fustrating! lol
butttttttttt i did go to our new apt. today it looks okay, i guess i'm just
nervous about moving AGAIN... i feel horrible cos the last house we lived in we
lived there since my daughter was 5mo's old, we moved to a new city which is
only a hour away from my hometown, but we have no family here just eachother...
me, husband, and daughter...maybe thats a good thing idk.... :) i'm hoping that
by nxt year we'll have saved enuff money to buy a house that would be sooo
AWESOME! :)

How are you? Thanks for the information! I am currently working for a
independent living center and we are trying to get ideas to start up
activities for those with SCI, and thier families! Also i think it'd be
awesome to join!!! :) I just finished my final for school so I'll join
tomarrow after work.... :) Only 1 more class left whoo hoo!!! Oh and If you
all don't hear from me in a couple of days, we are in the middle of moving!
