I'm so pleased to see some activity in this group. I'm Nan, a polio
survivor. Ages ago, when I first joined the group, the moderators were
kind enough to include me probably because as disabled women we all
share some common issues. I had polio when I was a little over a year
old, so I've been doing this disability bit for a long long time
*smile*. Fortunately I've been ambulatory most of my life with braces
and crutches, but in recent years I've been using my chair more, which
has been a huge adjustment.

I'm not online often, but love chatting so if you see me, please say
hello...and email is always welcomed.
