Re: [Women with SCI] Having a baby!!

Thank you for the reply! I live in Illinois. I have a wonderful
spinal cord injury dr. in ST.Louis. I see her this Thursday. It just
seems so far away..lol Yes, it has been 3 years. I worry because
when I lay flat my lower back gets really stiff, and my left leg
doesnt straighten out flat. Before my injury I use to sit "indian"
style all the time. now I can get my legs in that position but they
will not go down!I guess with all this it has me worried that the
baby will not have enough room.

hip should be well healed and it isn't going to cause any problems
to the baby. Being incomplete you are probably going to feel the
contractions. But I know they have Doctors at Santa Clara Valley
Medical spinal cord injury unit that will know the answers to all
your question. I am a para T1T2 complete and have a friend that had
a baby 1 year after she had a spinal cord injury I think she is T 6
or 7. And her boy is 20+ years old now.

deliverer a baby from a wome with a sci, and make sue to ask how
many babies they have delivered. That is very important
