Hi Alissa & All...
You sure got us going here with new messages. How great! I'm 44 and
have been injured a yr. (t-11 complete - hit by a drunk driver during
our vacation in Hawaii) and am still grieving the loss of a lot of
things. Seems like all the "firsts" are particularly difficult. Like
my "first fall season in back in my home- how do I rake leaves?, how
should we do Thanksgiving this year... I think its important to let
yourself process all the emotion, then you become ready to move on in
the right time.
I thought it would be interesting to ask you & other ladies to share
their answer to two questions:
1)What are three things that are still really frustrating to you?
2)What are three things that you have conquered that make you happy?
Mine would be:
1)Having to warm my freezing cold feet before I can go to sleep; being
in the bathroom when family or friends are doing something I'm missing
out on; after 25 yrs of happy marriage- sex being so limited.
2)Driving my van & doing grocery shopping myself; exercising
consistantly and showering myself; making my small grandkids happy by
giving them a ride on my lap!
Let's brag a little, ladies- we've earned it!!
Darla
