Thanks to everyone who replied to my earlier message and sorry it has taken
me so long to get back to you. I've got a miriad of physical problems and
sometimes it takes me a while. I am from Texas and we are thinking of
having a ceremony without all the official stuff for our families. For now
anyway that seems to be the only way it will work. I'm feeling alot better
about the whole situation. I'm already on the edge of losing some of my
benefits from the state just because of my social security income being so
high. *L* Which is a laugh. It is difficult to maintain a normal
lifestyles when it seems like everything is against you but I'm managing and
I'm not going to let it beat me!
Kelly

> Kelly, I may have made a mistake yesterday with your question, my problem
was alot different I'm sure. Back in 1974 things were alot different then
they are now,at least now the agencies work with you and more help is
available. We eventually did marry, but kept it private, sorry to say, but
that is my situation, everyone is diffrent. Hope I didn't discourage you to
go ahead with your plans. Where are u from?? Good luck, Theresa

for disability for me.. it took 2 years for it to become effective... It did
not have anything to do with my husband's salary which is quite a bit. The
only thing is we have to pay taxes on my disability at the end of the year.
