I would like it if you could be patient with me as I try to resolve
this issue for this board. This is supposed to be a forum for women.
I did not want to have to designate it as women only, but I will if
it will help other women in the group feel more comfortable. Also,
the postings that have produced the spam are from female senders. I
have banned the names and IDs of the spammers from the site. If the
group members would feel better, I can designate this as women only
and restrict access. But this group is for support, and I must admit
that my feelings are deeply hurt that you are ready to turn on this
group because of some postings. I am a young women with SCI like most
of you. I am awaiting a response from Yahoo! as to how to permanently
get rid of spam. I would like feedback regarding the gender issue of
this group. I thought it could be beneficial to have a male SCI's
input to some concerns, but this is a support network for women.
Group members, please let me know what you would like to see out of
this group.
