Asperger Syndrome appears to be a male dominated condition, and there is very little information & guidance available to women dealing with our unique challenges. I would like to invite all WOMEN WITH ASPERGER SYNDROME to join, and support each other in learning how to recognize those aspects of our lives affected by the disorder, and assist each other in developing coping strategies. This is a moderated board, and accepts only adult females who have AS.

If the medical profession is not able/willing to address the differences between male and female manifestations of this condition, it is up to us to be there for each other.


Please give us a brief outline of why you feel you are a good fit for this group along with your application to join. Your outline must include a specific statement that you are (1) a woman, (2) with Aspergers (self-diagnosed welcome). If you are not a woman with Aspergers but are interested in this group on behalf of someone else who is, please feel free to tell her about the group so that she (not you) may consider joining.
