Welcome to the group. We are all here to listen make suggestions and help in
anyway we can. No one here judges anyone. Years ago my family was the same
way. When I had my children I was afraid as you are now. What I did is
everytime I looked at my child I would say to myself "do I want this little
person to grow up feeling like I did?" No way I was a strict mom but never
unfair. My children are grown and my reward is how many times they have thanked
me for the love and caring I had shown them and the values I taught them. That
little son of yours depends on you and you will do the right thing, I know you
will. You are stronger then you know. Show him everyday how much you love and
want him and he will be just fine. Try not to think about your past and think
about the future and how proud you are going to be of your son and he will make
you proud. Hope I helped in a small way and please keep talking to us.
