Dear Friend,
Actions speak louder than words. And your actions to help protect children from unsafe medicines proved absolutely crucial. Thanks to your efforts, Congress passed critical legislation that will improve the medicines and medical devices available to children. Last week, the President signed this important legislation into law -- a great success for children across the country!
Today, in honor of National Child Health Day, please send a message to Congress to thank them for making children's health a priority.
Tell Congress Thank You!
There is a lot to be thankful for.
For the first time, laws are in place to spur the development of medical devices for children and make products, such as heart pumps and ear implants, available to kids in the sizes and models they need. The legislation also strengthens important programs to increase the number of medicines available to children and better ensure the medicines kids use are safer and more effective.
This success couldn't have been accomplished without your help.
Thanks for being an advocate for kids,
