Good point and well taken, however I think it's basically a way to help mother's who are infected and possibly protect the baby; if not then to set up immediate medical treatment and help both child and mother.
Instead of ignorance, it's more like education is the key.
Btw, I really want to thank you personally for giving your feed back on issues such as these, to get involved is very important and you've shown many times just how much you care!

I don't see how one leads to the other - unles NJ is suggesting forced
abortions for HIV women - and NJ isn't China!
Sounds like an equally daft stand taken some years ago by the otherwise
highly intelligent Simone Weill in France; she argued that HIV testing
of pregnant women was a breech of their rights to privacy! she changed
her mind.
