I dont live in Chicago, but I am always available to talk if you want.  I had my RNY November 2004, and in the process to get a revision into the DS soon due to massive complications from the RNY that got me 15 and counting surgeries in the past 3yrs and left me permanently disabled.  (not trying to scare any pre-ops)  If you need to talk feel free to email me, I am extremely knowledgable about the RNY, DS, and LapBand and have a large amount of research on each.  If I wasnt disabled I literally would be a bariatric surgeon.
 
I hope you are able to get passed this plateau and get back to loosing, I know how frustrating it is!  Good luck and Take care,
