Wow! My heart goes out to you at this time!!
Here's a prayer wheel that I got from from Tammy that I'd like to pass along for u..
N I will definately keep Daniel in my thoughts n prayers!
Love to You all,
Ingrid
Prayer Wheel
Let's see if the devil could stop this one! Here's what the wheel is all
about.
When you receive this, say a prayer for the person that sent it to you....
That's all you have to do....There is nothing attached....This is so
powerful....Just send this to seven people and watch God's answer to prayer
work in your life. Do not stop the wheel, please.... Of all the free gifts we
may receive, Prayer is the very best one.....
There are no costs, but wonderful rewards.... Let's continue praying for one
another..
A Prayer
Father, I ask you to bless my friends reading this right now. I am asking You
to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is pain, give
them Your peace and mercy. Where there is self doubting, release a renewed
confidence in Your ability to work through them. Where there is tiredness, or
exhaustion, I ask You to give them understanding, patience, and strength as
they learn submission to our leading. Where there is spiritual stagnation, I
ask You to renew them by revealing Your nearness, and by drawing them into
greater intimacy with You. Where there is fear, reveal Your love, and
release to them Your courage. Where there is a sin blocking them, reveal it,
and break its hold over my friend's life. Bless their finances, give them
greater vision, and raise up leaders, and friends to support, and encourage
them. Give each of them discernment to recognize the evil forces around them,
and reveal to them the power they have in You to defeat it.
I ask You to do these things in Jesus' name.
In love,
Your Friend
Passing this on to anyone you consider a friend will bless you both. Passing
this on to one not considered a friend is something Christ would do.
I will pray for Danny.Do not worry.God is great.Leave it to him and he will take care.
My Prayers and Best Wishes.
Luv
Bhaskar

DEAR FAMILY & FRIENDS;
PLEASE ADD DANNY TO YOUR PRAYER LIST THIS WEEK-ESPECIALLY!!!! CHARLIE & I JUST PUT DANNY, HIS BROTHER DEREK(18), GREG (OUR OLDEST SON-DANNY'S DAD) AND GREG'S FIANCE, LINDA ON THE PLANE THIS MORNING AT 9;00 A.M. FOR ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL TO SEE DR. BREWER. DANNY WAS JUST BACK THERE A YEAR AGO(IF YOU REMEMBER) AND WAS DIAGNOSED WITH WILSON'S DISEASE.
DANNY HAS BEEN REGRESSING RAPIDLY THE LAST FEW MONTHS SINCE HIS BRAIN SEIZURES AND WE ARE VERY WORRIED-HE IS NOW IN THE PRE-NATAL POSITION AND BODILY FUNCTIONS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. THEY HAVE BOOKED THE WHOLE WEEK FOR ADDITIONAL TESTS TO BE DONE AT HOSPITAL. THEY WILL FLY HOME SAT., NOV., 4TH, HOPEFULLY WITH BETTER NEWS. WILL KEEP YOU POSTED.
GET OUT THOSE "PRAYER BEADS" - THANK YOU - LUV, SHARI & CHARLIE
Dear Members,
I dont know whether doc v has been removed from the
list or he has himself opted out.
I t is only the information on the list by Ruth and
Tammy which indicate that he has been removed.I think
removing doc v from the list has been discussed many a
times and has the members arrived at the conclusion that
they can filter out the mails in which they are not
interested. It is therefore not fair to remove him
from the list.
IN FACT ANY PERSON,EVEN A SAINT WILL HAVE SOME DEFFICIENCES
AND NO MAN ON IN THIS WORLD IS SINNLESS FAULTLESS. AND WE
MUST REMEMBER THAT NO PERSON IN THIS WORLD IS GOOD FOR NOTHING.
IF A MAN IS DEFFICINET IN ONE HE WILL EXCELL IN OTHER FIELD AND
IF A MAN IS NOT GOOD FOR ONE HE MAY BE VERY GOOD FOR OTHERS.
I have found him quite helping and giving quick advices to
the best of his capability and devoting most of his time
in replying lengthy e mails. He may have hurt the feeling of
some of our members for which I think he has appolozised
also.we should consider the overall benefit of the members
not only one or a few indivisuals. If a man has a worth then
we should ignore petty things coming in the way.
A man was holding a new Rs 500/ note in his hand and he
asked the people who wants this.Everybody replied "I want, give
it to me". He then folded that note many times and then asked
even then everybody replied "I want".The man wiped his face
with that note and again asked the persons to which everybody
reply in positive. He then rubbed that note under his shoes
at a dirty place and then asked the persons , even then everybody
replied that thay want the soiled and dirty note.
He then explained that we should consider the worth of the
man ,like the note and should ignore the sinns ,faults, defficiencies
like the soiled and dirty note .
In my view if he is having some defficiencies, faults we should
ignore them and let him continue on the list at least for the
members those who want him.I can find from the postings on the list
that there are many who would like him to stay on the list and and
are getting timely advices from doc v. I have already suggested that
there can be some other alternative to authorise some senior
docs those who can give med advices to make the purpose of the
more meaningful and helping. This would also remove the objections
of some of our members those who do not like jto see mails sent
by doc v and will also get authorized med advice.
Thanking you,
with regards.

MUCH TO OUR GREAT SADNESS, WE HAVE LEARNED THIS EVENING, THAT AFTER MANY TESTS DONE LAST NIGHT AND TODAY, OUR DANIEL HAS LEUKEMIA ALONG WITH WILSON'S DISEASE. THIS SEEMS TO BE THE FIRST TIME THAT DR. BREWER AND HIS STAFF AT UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN HAVE SEEN THE COMBINATION OF THE TWO DISEASES TOGETHER.
DANIEL HAD BEEN RUNNING A TEMPERATURE FOR THE LAST MONTH OFF AND ON-DOCTORS CHECKED HIM HERE IN PHOENIX, AZ., AND COULD FIND NOTHING - EXCEPT A LITTLE BIT OF A RED THROAT. IT WOULD COME AND GO.
DOCS ARE NOW FRANTICKLY TRYING TO FIND HOW TO ATTACK THIS PROBLEM WITH TREATING WILSON'S DISEASE AND LEUKEMIA WITHOUT ONE AFFECTING THE OTHER. WE WILL HAVE A TELEPHONE MARATHON TOMORROW WITH DOCS IN MICHIGAN TO HOPEFULLY ANSWER SOME OF OUR QUESTIONS.
LEUKEMIA CAN BE TREATED SUCCESSFULLY, AS YOU KNOW, BUT WITH BOTH DISEASES, WHO KNOWS. DANNY ALSO HAS EXTREME BRAIN DAMAGE IN THE FRONT LOBAL AREA AND WE DO NOT KNOW IF THIS CAN BE REVERSED.
WE KNEW THAT WITH HIS DETERIORATION WITHIN THE PAST TWO MONTHS THAT SOMETHING WAS DESPERATELY WRONG - SO AT LEAST WE HAVE A DIRECTION TO FOLLOW NOW -= SOMEONE HAS GIVEN US A PATH (MAYBE ONE OF YOUR ANGELS!).
WE WILL KEEP YOU POSTED - BUY PLEASE KEEP HIM IN YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS, BECAUSE HE HAS BECOME ANEMIC, AND THEY ARE CONCERNED ABOUT ANOTHER (LIKE PNEUMONIA) ATTACKING HIS LITTLE BODY OR SOMETHING ELSE BECAUSE HIS RESISTANCE IS VERY LOW.
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR ALL OF YOUR RESPONSE, KIND AND THOUGHTFUL WORDS AND MANY MANY PRAYERS - WE JUST WISH HIM TO HAVE PEACE AND NOT SUFFER ANY LONGER, IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. IT HAS BEEN A "HELL" OF A YEAR (HOPE THAT DOES NOT OFFEND ANYONE, BUT THAT IS THE WORSE WORD I CAN THINK OF AT THIS TIME).
ANY WILSON PATIENT'S THAT WE CAN SHARE INFORMATION WITH, DO NOT HESTITATE TO CONTACT US AT ANY TIME. WE WILL BE GLAD TO HELP IN ANYWAY THAT WE CAN. LUV, SHARI & CHARLIE GREULICH, SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA
So sorry about Daniel's diagnosis, he will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Jeanne,
There is a note somewhere that a doctor can be their own worst patient. It's
also not a good idea to be one's own doctor. Always an outside voice is
required for the objective.
Something I heard somewheres, and so far, it holds true.

Hi caroline,
yeah poor eyesight is definately related to WD.Though in my case KF ring was
absent according to my doctors but I have been very slowly loosing sight and
have been wearing glasses ever since I was diagonised for WD in 1998.Though
I need glasses for reading only as of now I cant say anything for the
future.I am also getting headaches when my eyes are tired and times it is
very severe.Good sleep does help.Since my job involves sitting in front of
the computer for as long as 8-10 hrs a day, it pains.

Subject: Re: Eyesight
I have poor eyesight and wear glasses (I have quite acute astigmatism, which
basically means my eyeballs have uneven surface and are more rugy ball
shaped than spherical).
My eyesight suddenly went overnight, one day I had 20/20 vision the next I
could not focus well at all, this was very strange. So I've been wearing
glasses since 18 years, I'm now 27 and my eyesight seems to be getting
worse. I wear glasses all the time (apart from when i'm sleeping of course!)
and I work on a computer 7 1/2 hours a day, which I'm sure doesn't help my
sight.
I get headaches when my eye's are tired and if i do not drink enough fluids.
Because i work on a computer I take regular breaks from staring at the
screen and i try not to play computer games too much!
I don't know if poor eyesight is related to WD, but quite a few people i
know in the uk with wd also wear glasses, perhaps this is coincidence?
Perhaps Dr Sellner could do a survey on this?
caroline

Just a little note if to thosed of you who use Computers alot as do.
I used to get very bad headaches and dry eye's then I got an
anti-glare screen for my VDU, My eyes feel alot more relaxed and I
dont get so many headaches. (Only when I program C++, but thats
because I have to think to hard to do it?)
Oh I also had week eyes when I was in my teans my eyes would go all
black, I would see flying multi coloured shapes, and go dizzy. They
told me I had week muscles that surround my eye so I had to do some
focusing exersises. I felt very stupid doing these but it seemed to
do the trick.

Apparently Kirk is off the List. I don't approve of keeping him off
the list but it isn't MY list. I would still like to see Kirk on. I
don't think he has harmed any Wilson Disease patient. If anything, I
think he has made us more aware of how much we are in charge of our
disease and what we want our doctors to check in the way of tests. I
don't know how others feel. Sincerely, RUTH
