I know you don't wanna hear it, but with diet and exercise. For me what worked was watching starches. My body does not react well when I eat lots of bread and pasta etc. Of course, goes without saying that those are my favorite foods. What works best for me is cardio, have recumbent bicycle, 3X a week, and portion control. Try to stay away from the red meats, but do have some form once a week. Primarily chicken and pork (the other white meat). I know you've heard this before, and I had too, but the fad diets will work, but you'll eventually gain weight back. I've even gained 15lbs since I made my appt with the plastic surgeon. Nerves! So right there it tells me, i'm an emotional eater! It's not real hard to figure all this weight gain and weight loss stuff out. Take a deep look inside. Anyway....eat your veggies, your proteins (very important) and some starch like a baked potato now and again. But more than anything, if possible, WALK...or ride a bike,
move that body, move that body. This is what works for me (disclaimer). OH...and believe it or not, I actually count calories! I'm telling you, the drs. had it right years ago, we just want the quick and easy ways. Count your calories, watch your starch and watch your portions. Don't skip meals! Eat to lose weight, just eat moderate portions and get some form of cardio and I'm sure you'll be in that size (xx) you want. I know I can't weight to get this extra skin/fat off my body so I can hit the south florida beach next year and strut my stuff ! hahahahaha. good luck

How did you accomplish your weight loss goals without bariatric surgery? Please do tell. I am being told I'm not entirely a candidate for bypass because I'm not overweight enough (I'm on the line) and don't have enough additional problems (besides feeling really bad about myself and being able to play with my children). I'd be very interested in knowing more. Thank you.
