Christy,
Please take your time with your procedures. I had my tummy done in April, and my butt in July and it was too soon. I didn't have enough time to recover. I now realize I should have let more than the 12 weeks pass before having a second procedure. I am quite anemic right now, and Dr. Revis won't touch me again until January, so I have time to get REALLY healthy.
I had my breasts done in July, and it was only about 2 weeks before I was braless and proud! I only had a lift, not implants.
Good luck! Keep us advised of your progress, and if you need to talk, let us know.

This will be my first procedure after bypass surgery. I have lost 96 lbs in 11 months. I am excited and very nervous at the same time. Just went thru all the notes in your chat room today and gained a lot of information, more than I wanted to know at times! Not familiar with the protein product you mentioned but will look into it. Want to do all I can to make this a success. I have taken 3 weeks off from work and hope that is enough, a little worried about the pain, discomfort, and healing process/timeframe. Glad to know others are out there to answer questions. Look forward to being part of the group. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Message: 2 Date: Thu, 15 Sep 2005 08:13:10 -0700 (PDT) From: Christy Engler <kanganoah@...> Subject: Re: New Member Hi! I had part one of my body lift 5 weeks ago! I am loving the results! I had it done here in Ohio. It is absolutel amazing to have a flat stomach!!!! I feel so fortunate that things went really well. I really feel for me that pain management was the key...keeping just a little bit ahead of the pain medication. The first week was the worst, for obvious reasons. By week two I was really feeling so much better! I had a lifting reclining chair that really was such a big help. I didn't think that I would need it, but it was amazing! I slept in it also. I had gastric bypass surgery 3 years ago and have lost a total of 205 pounds! I have just 17 more pounds to go to be at my goal weight!! I am having a thigh lift and my arms done on October 11th and then the third and final step will be implants and a breast lift about one month later! I am a teacher so I am fortunate to have saved up all of my sick days and have taken a medical leave until January to complete this whole crazy process! I think that at three weeks if you just take it really easy you will be ready to ease back into work, and if for some reason you're not remember that this is your time in your life to put yourself first and do everything in your power to work it out somehow to take the time you need to heal!
