Hi Everybody!
I was soooo happy to find out about this great group! I had gastric bypass surgery in August of 2002. Prior to the surgery I had lost about 105 pounds through Weight Watchers, but I just couldn't get the rest off! Weight has been a major issue in my life. After gastric bypass I was able to lose about 100 pounds. I'm about 30 pounds or so from my goal!! I think that about 25 of those pounds is loose skin! I started to do some research about finding a surgeon and came across Dr. Revis's site. I wish that I lived in Florida! He seems incredible! I have learned so much from his site. I have found a great surgeon in my hometown of Akron, Ohio. I am going to have a series of three surgeries all together. The first one is scheduled for August 8th. For the first surgery he is going to do an almost complete lower body lift. He is going to lipo my thighs, but not
do the thigh lift until the second surgery. I'm so glad that I found you guys! Hearing all about your procedures and what your going through and feeling is such a great thing. I think that it's so hard for someone else, no matter how well meaning they are, to understand what we're going through! I'm really looking forward to being a part of your group! Christy

First of all Andy, it was great to see you at Dr. Revis office. Hope
you had a wonderful time with the kids on your recent excursion. For
those of you that aren't aware, Dr. Revis completed my surgeries on
May 10.
I had my necklift, thigh lift, flankoplasty (butt lift!) it finally
has a shape to it! and scar revision from the wonderful scar I was
left with from my open gastric bypass surgery in 2002. It looks
fantastic and I love my hourglass figure now! I'm thrilled at the
outcome, Dr. Revis did a fantastic job again! Good Luck to you Peggy
on the 19th, no doubt your going to be pleased with your results as
well. I also had a hard time sleeping for a few weeks, but that is
starting to pass now, hopefully yours has also. I'm excited for you!
I'd be happy to assist you if you have any questions, it wasn't
nearly as bad to go through as I thought it would be, we just have to
have patience, it does take time to heal. I use the scarguard
religiously. Don't forget about taking your unjury for your protein
and to promote healing. Let us know how your doing, you've got our
support. Look forward to hearing from you. Barb Winer
