Andy,

I have to say I had a completely different experience regarding pain after my tummy tuck.  I didn't feel any real pain.  Dr. Revis knew I couldn't deal with morphine or codeine, so he tried to find something else that worked for me.  I really didn't need it, and by the second day after my procedure, he put me on darvacet.  Took 2 of them (one a day) and then gave them up. Didn't use the muscle relaxers either.

I think the big thing with my tummy tuck is the inconvenience of the girdle and the drainage tubes.  But I know it will be worth it.

A question for you.....

I had lipo on my upper legs, and don't see a difference yet in the size.  How long before the swelling subsides?

Peggy
