Connie
I had a breast augmentation/lift in June
2005 and a lower body lift/Bilateral brachioplasty in November 2005. My
insurance (BCBS) didn’t cover anything! It took a great deal of
moonlighting to pay for it but totally worth it. I’m working on
saving to have a thighplasty done. Hopefully after the new year. Insurance
companies all have their own criteria but the majority will not cover plastic
surgery unless it’s the result of reconstructive surgery from cancer
etc. Perhaps luck will be on your side. Do you live here in
Kimberly

Hi,
Kimberly. Thanks for the reply. May I ask
what procedures you had done? I am really
looking forward to starting the journey of
removing the "access". Did your insurance cover
any of the procedures? I have been told
different answers on that question. One doctor
said that sometimes insurance companies will
cover it under "reconstructive" surgery. I just
changed providers so I will be contacting them
for their decision soon. Thanks again for the
reply, good luck.
