Hi, My name is Kimberly and I had an open RNY 2/04 and lost 158lb. I
had a breast lift/augmentation June 05 and a lower body lift and
bilateral brachioplasty by Dr Revis in November 05. Due to Hurricaine
Wilma and a delay of a week to have my surgery, my recovery was cut
from 4 to 3 weeks. Do yourself a favor and plan for at least 4-5
weeks to recover. Because I live in Ocala FL, we stayed in a hotel
for the first 3 days after discharge in Ft Lauderdale. A previous
patient had recommended renting a Lazy Boy Recliner from Rent a Center
down there and it truly was the best thing. There was no way I could
have laid down in a bed of any kind. When I came home, I slept in my
own lazy boy for the first week.
I was ready to be by myself within a week and a half after surgery and
was driving by week 3. If you have any further questions, give me a
call at 352-873-8249 or e mail me at wolfskimba@...
Good Luck. As a health care professional myself and after multiple
consultations looking for the best, I'm proud to inform you that you
have indeed picked him. You'll be very satisfied.
Kimberly
