Leona,
I have very limited space in my garage apartment. I
purchased organic wheat seeds from a great source in
Nebraska. Then I use organic potting soil produced by
miracle grow, sold at any gardening store I get it
very reasonable. I then bought cafeteria trays from a
local food service supplier and spread about a 1/2
inch of soil down place soaked seeds on top keep a
extra tray upside down on top till sprouted about 1/2
high then place under grow lamps I( got a lamp at
target for about 20 dollars that holds five adjustable
lamps) in a week or maybe in Alaska ten days from time
seeds soaked to harvest. I do so much this way and the
juice everyone says taste so much better than any
juice bar that I am selling sprouted trays about 2
inches high 20 or more per week. They then finish in
sunny rooms and have great tasting juice. All for
under two dollars a tray. I worked on the North Slope
I know how unhealthy it can be up there.
Good Health,
Chefbeerman
