All of the healing institutes teach blending as a part of the livingfoods
lifestlyle.I have a greenstar2000 and it does a good job on the wheat and barley
grass that I grow. But I can blend a flat of grass and strain the juice and clean
up in less than 15 min.I like my greenstar2000 but it cant crush and cut with
the intensity of the vita prep 3 which is a 3+hp blender.Raw crushing power is
very important for stage2 juice and thats why the gershon institutes uses
presses or the very expensive Norwalk juicer. The juice from a high power blender
is more rich and full flavored I was suprised myself at the taste and
quality.Proof is in the pudding/juice the hippocrates institutes along with the
tree of life teach whole food juicing over partialized juicing.Whole food is
whole nutrition its a simple concept with profound impact on nutrient uptake. If
you want to get the most nutrients in a fast and easy way then a high power
blender 3+hp is the way.Vitamix,Blendtec,Warring and many more brands are
availiable that have high power units over 3hp.They are very pricey when I
purchased mine last winter it cost me a little over 500$.Cheap plastic auger
juicers will never give you your moneys worth out of the grass juice.I dont sale
nor am I affiliated with any of the tools mentioned, just my own personal
experiances.Scientific documentation on juicer yields and nutrient analysis from
a juicer manu. has never been done yet and probably never will way to expensive
and no way to test a fresh sample. The Pines wheatgrass company is the only
wheatgrass company to have a nutritional analysis of there grass juice that Im
aware of and you gan see it at wheatgrass.com in the faqs. section. No
hype..........needed cause Im not selling anything!!! Happy holidays!!!
Editors note: You can test the juice extracted from the pulp
with 2 or 3 drops of 3 percent hydrogen peroxide. If it foams or
bubbles, it still has enzyme power.
If the juice plus pulp from a Vitamix still has the same amount
of enzymes, you can also test the same way and compare.

> Vita Mix has always been a VERY HIGH SALES promoted product. Claims that
its wheatgrass juice is BETTER, with more nutrients than Korean or wheatgrass
juicers............. what documentation is there? what realistic quality
tests have ACTUALLY been made?? i doubt it. personally. If all the
wheatgrass clinics in the full time business of juicing large quantaties of
wheatgrass juice, for the purpose of curing patients, start transitioning from
wheatgrass juicers to high speed blenders, like vita mix; THEN, it may have some
validity............ but, until then; it sounds like good sales
hype................

> Yes you can juice grass in the vitamix blender along with everything elseYou
will need a nutmilk bag to strain the grass juice with,I love how fast I can
make fresh juice.I use 2 icecubes one on the bottom near the blades so the grass
mash stays cool during the blending. You will have to use the plunger to force
the grass into the blades this requires some physical effort.I use the vita prep
3 and am not sure how well the 2hp peak models would work with grass. There is a
video at youtube.com where a man who goes by blindguru shows how to make grass
juice with a blender. If you punch in blindguru in the search box you can find
this video. The vita mix makes better nutrient quality juice do to its ability to
crush the fiberous tissue with greater ability than any juicer on the
market.Good luck and happy juicing.Jeff
