Ive been growing the WG on & off for a while now, in my experience when i
have watered too much & the water is sitting in the drip tray, the WG gets a
build up of mold, this dosent worry me because i cut the WG above the mold &
seems to still do the health benefit trick without an added yuck taste.
I can only imagine that if i were growing my WG outdoors in a shaded area
without direct sunlight & no drip tray, the mold probably wouldnt be there
(or as much)
Personally i would keep doing what you are doing but without the chlorine.
My WG trays are 14 x 12 x 2 inch, i drown the WG with 2.5 litres water when
watering them every second day, let it drain off for 30mins then bring it
inside.

Subject: [wheatgrass] Mold?
How do I reduce the amount of mold grwoing on my trays of wheatgrass.
I am trying a spray with a very light solution of chlorine in it since
chlorine evaporates quickly I am hoping to redce the mold that way.
Any other sugestions.
