Thanks for the very thorough write up that really helps!!

I'm doing very similar to what your doing with a few changes, and
my friend is doing very similar also with a few varations. Yet were
only getting 4oz for a rather large size tray. Even though he is
using his at a different place with different soil, the only thing
similar are the tray and the seed, and eventually the juicer. So I
think it might be the seeds, like you mentioned.

I ordered them off ebay $15 for 15 pounds of organic hard winter
wheat shipped to me. The grass is thick and lucious green and looks
very healthy when grown. But maybe it is the seed since I'm doing
very similar to most people I've read about and there getting 10-18,
and i'm getting 4?
