I grow my wheatgrass in trays from the dollar store, using wheat form
Wild Oats, and earth from local garden center.
I use it regularly for myself, my mom, and my kids for
1. To speed up healing of cuts - 2 days instead of 5.
2. To take care of skin rashes of any sort - apply to skin, then add to
bath.
3. As a mouthwash.
4. Ringworm and other fungal infections.
5. As a component in vegetable juices - it is very sweet.
I am generally healthy person. I did not have any major disease to
overcome, and cannot report on it.
Those uses came from Ann Wigmore book and Steve Meyerowitz books. There
are many other uses too. Those books also have history of research, and
case studies.
There is a message from someone in archives whose gray hair got color.
I probably spent $25 on all my supplies - books, earth, trays (that we
are using for many other things too), seeds from bulk containers. It
grows great, as long as it has enough water. I juice with Omega 8003.
As a chemist (Master of Science), I have to point out that
1. Delivery method of vitamins matters more than vitamins quantity.
2. Journalists often leave out essential details when quoting scientific
articles.
3. Journalists like to create an impression what scientists know
everything, and/or have all necessary tools to measure whatever is not
known right now.
