Shannon,
Thanks for your reply. I live in the bay area of California and when you say you
have been ordering from wheatgrasskits.com, what exactly are you ordering? The
kits to grow the grass?
I am interested in growing the grass and then selling it once it is grown, so
that people can juice live fresh grass. What I plan on doing first is growing
alot of trays for me so I get the hang of it before I start slowly selling to
the public. I have gotten some very encouraging responses so far and I am
looking forward to getting the whole thing going. I will eventually want to
order in bulk from nurseries or some such enterprise that allow for buying
situations such as mine. And hopefully somewhere local. But if I have to order
seeds/berries online, so be it.
I will let everyone know how it is coming along once I put the pieces of the
puzzle together.
Kindly,
Scott

Hi Scott,
I've only been ordering from wheatgrasskits.com, so I don't know of anyplace to
get bulk supplies. But I would be interested in buying from you once it all gets
together. I live in San Diego and can always use another supplier! Keep us
posted
thanks,
Shannon

Hi all,
I recently got back from OHI in San Diego and want to expand on mmy
wheatgrass education and bring it forward to others. What that means
to me is to start growing it for my community and deliver it daily. I
have started my research and was wondering if anyone of you are in
that business and if there are places that I can order seed, trays,
compost etc, in bulk, and not 5 trays for $6.95 etc like these online
companies are selling.
I have bought a juicer and have have the initial growing kit with 4
trays. Once I have gotten the hang of it and have done me research, I
would very much like to offer the benefits to others in a very
personal way, meaning hand delivered to order.
Thanks
Scott

Jen,
New Seasons in Oregon and I am in San Fransico so that won't work, but it does
give me some ideas of places that I might be able to buy seed from so thank you.

Hi Scott~
I do not have any exclusive sources .. but I would look for a large nursery in
your area. Almost any of them will have the trays and compost. Perhaps they will
give you access to their supplier or can make a good recommendation. I just
still get my seed from the bulk bins at New Seasons (.59 per pound).. I'm new
also, but hope this helps you out.
