Hi Shannon - I was excited to see you live in SD. A great place to
get ans to your questions is to visit the Optimum Health Institute
in Lemon Grove. They have a free Open House every Sunday. If you
call ahead for a reservation you can have a raw food lunch for a
donation - last time I went donation was 2.50. You'll tour the
wheatgrass cathedral, organic gardens, watch a video, participate in
Q&A session - you can ask questions all through the tour. Be sure to
visit the bookstore too.
Yes, I've regrown my WG trays 2x. Use a spray bottle with mixture of
fertilizer and water. I use diluted maxi-crop fertilizer. The second
tray is slightly milder in taste and the nutrients are slightly less
but when I have a really hardy growth in my first tray, I feel the
second growth is well worth it
WG juice is so potent and concentrated that when you drink it
straight immediately after eating you get a feeling of heaviness and
stomach upset. Best to drink an hour before eating and 1-2 hrs after
eating - even 3 hours after if you've eaten cooked animal products.
Start drinking 1 ounce 3x a day and work up from there. Too much
juice too soon releases too many toxins into your system at once and
can give you unconfortable cleansing reactions - headaches, nausea,
tired feeling etc
Hope I've been helpful, Lee
