Re: toxins?

Don't take this the wrong way, but both your responses on this
thread read like well orchestrated advertisements for Evergreen.

Evergreen FREEZES the grass and contrary to popular belief that DOES
kill off a large portion of the enzymes, nutrients and other
beneficial elemnents contained in living wheatgrass.

H202 doesn't kill mold because mold is aerobic (thrives in oxygen).
Hydrogen peroxide is simply water with an extra molecule of oxygen.
Lots of people have been seeing good results with Grapefruit
Extract, but I have never tried it because I found a method that
worked for me. After numerous experiments to try and stop mold
growth, which is a daunting task here in the humid state of Florida,
I finally realized that nothing compares to Soil, Castings or
Vermiculite, etc. Anything that keeps the seed moist and provides
darkness during the seedling stages. Mold grows on the seed, not
the blades of grass - so by burying the seeds you should see a near
complete elimination of mold.

My grass now grows fuller, faster, greener, taller and I actually
find the taste enjoyable. When I grew my grass hydroponically I
would get nauseous simply by smelling the freshly cut juice. Now I
find myself cutting of wads of the grass to chew on throughout the
day like chewing gum.

And no I don't represent a soil company! Try it out - go to your
local nursery and pick up some good quality organic soil. Oh, and
don't overwater the grass - water it enough to keep the soil damp!

Best of luck.
