I read about the benefits and thought I would give it a try. I think
it was a flyer at a Jamba Juice or other smoothie shop.
After drinking an ounce a day for about 2-3 months, I realized one
morning, that my Knees no longer *popped* when I first stood up.
I'm 38, raced motocross for the better part of 10 years, and other
extreme sports abuse, to my body. I gave up on running as my knees
would hurt so bad I would wake up instantly, in pain, from a deep
sleep, if I got that deep into sleep. Days later stairs would still
be a problem.
...So one morning I woke up, realized my knees no longer popped. I
decided to go for a run that evening, on pavement, up and down large
socal hills in my neighborhood. Finished my day, went to bed. I woke
up the next morning, went about my day. Around 2 pm it hit me like
lightning that I RAN, and forgot about it. There was no hint of
fatigue, or pain in my knees. I do not believe that the wheatgrass
juice "grew" stuff that was missing in my joints. I do believe that
the circulation was improved and therefore the inflammation never,
inflamed. A few weeks later I decided I could try a triathlon event.
I was not able to continue training due to a job change and getting a
business off the ground. However I did train quite a bit in the 4
months running at least 2 times a week, usually 3-4 times a week.
This included riding 160+ miles a week on the tri-bike.
Hope that helps,
Eddy
