Dear Eddy,
Here is the link to the place where i lived and worked
in the 80's - www.optimumhealth.org
The skin is your largest organ of detoxification. It is
associated with the lungs and other organs, nerves etc.
So, in your situation, as you breath heavily and build
up a sweat, toxins are eliminated through the skin.
During the wheatgrass education classes, I learned to be
thankful for visible signs of toxicity. That little
tidbit of info has helped me immensely through the
years. I've learned to be a detective when I have
a reaction of any kind to foods, environment, body
products, household products etc.
Breakouts on your skin should be allowed to run their
course of healing without products to stop the process.
The exception is to apply wheatgrass poultices to the
irritated area. The healing effectiveness of a poultice
lasts approx 1 1/2 hrs
Some suggestions - An iridology reading will give you
an overall summary of internal conditions. The iris of
your eye is a window to the inner body from head to toe.
Something simple that you can look for is evidence of
drug(medicine)residues. They show up as green, yellow,
orange spots on your iris. Ask a friend to look at your
iris with a good magnifying glass as you hold a flashlight
up against your cheek. Sometimes the residues have
been there since childhood. If you have an interest in
this,I can tell you other simple things to look for.
A certified iridologist can tell you exactly where the
deposits are located and of course so much more. Contact
the Dr. Bernard Jensen Clinic in Escondido for a referral
A full body cleanse including a colon cleanse is another
suggestion. You can conclude the possible condition of
your colon by comparing your elimination against the
optimum efficiency of eliminating 2 hours after every
meal. I saw a picture of the colon in a cadaver. The
hardened residues coating the lining the colon weighed
40 #. As further research on this topic has been done
by others, they decide to do a colon cleanse at the
change of every season.
A 3 week wheatgrass therapy cleanse is far more intensive
compared to alternate approaches that take longer. If a
person cannot attend a WG therapy program and must
do a cleanse and work at the same time the cleanse must
be slow and progressive. My personal cleansing reactions
included a 3 day headache(caffiene withdrawal),
intermittent days of weakness and exhaustion, rashes,
weight loss, body odors, nausea and craving foods that
were not offered on the WG program. It wasn't until
my 3rd week of cleansing that I began to feel I could
leap tall buildings.
The alternate approaches to cleansing create much
milder reactions that surface intermittently.
I had no concept about my toxicity level. Reactions
happen according to each person's level.
