John,
I juice with an Omega (single gear) and get maximum yield. I push the pulp
through the juicer again, just to make sure I have all the juice extracted.
The pulp at this time is almost dry, so I know I couldn't juice another
drop. I don't know what the purpose of the "2 gear" machines are.
My juicer is a work horse and has been able to take almost anything and
juice it. It does prefer (and is best suited for) leafy greens. I have a
centrifugal juicer for citrus, juicy vegetables and fruit.
For wheatgrass, kale, parsley, barley, the Omega works fine. I don't know
the capability of the other juicers you mention.
Regards

Subject: [wheatgrass] one or two machine strategy
My son and I are looking to move away from centrifugal and also start
growing
and juicing wheatgrass (6 oz daily total).
We will WG juice daily and a variety of juice on weekends.
We are confused about a one or two machine strategy.
We are interested in the Greenstar vs Twin Health Marathon, vs the
Hippocrates & Greenpower, or the Miracle MJ575
Also the SoloStar II vs the Samson?
Will the Greenstar handle the wheatgrass need?
And what about the biomagnetics do they have an effect ? Is there testing
done?
Is a Peoples Press for the pulp a good idea?
Whats your thoughts?
Thank you for your time
