quentin:
I never even noticed (your comment of height of grass) on mine.I
think you are concerned needlessly. I have come to believe that an
EVEN LAYER of seed (not piled up on each other) is the proper way.
Also, I see you are not sprouting the seed prior to planting.
Try this: 1.RINSE until water is clear 2.SOAK overnight 8-10 hrs (
use enough wate as the seeds swell). 3.RINSE until water is clear
(use soaking water for flowers or other plants) 4. COVER & SPROUT for
another day or 8-10 hrs. 5. PLANT, but do not pile up seeds. 5. WATER
or SPRAY ( I WATER). 6.COVER for 2 days or until grass is about 1
1/2 - 2 inches tall.
I don't think nature would have them grow uniformly. I know when I
sprout and grow sunflower seeds and other greens they grow at
different rates .I have explained pretty much what is in Ann Wigs
video. Are using too many seeds? I try to just cover the earth so it
doesn't show BUT not piled up. PAX...egulls2
