Pax,
I read recently (in one of the books written by the gurus) that
grass grown with lights is "slightly" less beneficial as with
natural light. I have my first batch of grass growing with lights
which are on for 14 hours (using a timer). On my next batch, I will
keep the light on for 24 hours and see if it makes any difference.
One of the larger wheatgrass growers, The Hippocrates Health
Institute, grows grass in greenhouses under lights. For me who is
unable to grow in my home, in the basement under lights is the next
best thing...
I also just rigged up a fan which I believe helps in combatting mold.
regards
