This past winter I have taken to growing in the basaement with two
growlights.Have had good results.Keep them on 24 hours and water
every other day. Space restrictions put me near the furnace and I
believe the temperature may be too high ( upper 70'S ) or higher at
times. Think this may contribute to mold. It sure does grow faster
with 24 hour lighting and seems to be consistently good deep green in
color. Have one experiment going using same soil with one seed bought
here in Mass. and another bought in Fla.. A tray holding 2 cups of
seed yields about 11 or so ounces. I let it grow until it starts to
wilt around the edges....a good 8-9". Does anyone out there think
there is a nutritional difference between artificial and natural
sunlight? Pax....egulls2
