Dear Andey,
1. To eat the whole plant root and all, grow your
grass in a hydroponic unit.
2. To eat in a salad, sprout the berries until you see
a tiny white sprout. Rinse sprouted berries and store
in fridge to retard further growth and grab a handfull
whenever you make a salad. Remember the sprouts are live
food and must have air...so cover storage container
with cheese cloth, old nylon stocking or bridal veil
netting and rinse sprouts 1x day.
3. Make breakfast cereal..Follow directions in #2...
grab a handfull, put in blender, add water to make the
consistency like oatmeal, carefully warmup on stove...
don't let it get hot enough to kill the enzymes
115-120 degrees max. A buffet food warmer is perfect
temperature wise. OR simply eat at room temp with
your fresh fruit.
4. MAKE a cleansing, energizing and enzyme rich
lemon-lime drink with the summer white wheatberry
(has a milder taste than the hard red winter berry)
Follow directions in #2 for sprouting, grab 1/4 cup
of sprouts, put in blender, add 1 quart of water,
put blended drink in glass container and let sit
on kitchen counter 2-3 days depending on warm or cool
temp. Taste for slightly tart strength and drink
1 quart a day. Drink is called Rejuvelac and/or Fountain
of Youth drink.
