I've tried the low RPM juicers - and the blenders.
Low RPM juicers seem to produce what is the best result -
but blenders are not a complete waste of time - IMO.
Blending demands you mix the grass with a fair volume of
water. This isn't necessarily bad - but "waters down"
the whole experience significantly.
It's hard to quantify the effects of oxygen on the blended
juice. It tastes a /bit/ like normal wheatgrass that's been
sitting around for a while.
Flushing with nitrogen (or CO2) has been proposed as a way
of reducing the extent of this side effect - if anyone tries
this, do let us know how it turns out.
Blenders /do/ have advantages. They are cheap, ubiquitous -
and are very easy to clean. However mine does not see very
regular use these days...
