Re: [wheatgrass] blending the whole grass

So.....to maintain a raw diet the Vita Mix can be very useful. But;
how raw? The high rpm has somewhat of an effect of cooking the
ingredients. Apparently, it also sucks out some of the oxygen!
Personally, I have to thank this group for introducing me to the single
auger juicer, over 1/2 year ago. (The Omega and Samson 6 in 1).
This led me to purchase the newest single auger juicer, the Solo Star,
whose auger rotates at only 80 rpm; wheras the average centrifugal
juicer blade spins at 800-2,000 rpm; which can really heat
up/cook/destroy, etc. the ingredients.
My own personal belief is once you open a fruit (apple, orange, plum,
mango, etc.), or even a vegetable; (carrot, beet, etc.); at that moment
the life force/shakti/energy/chi, etc. begins to escape. So, just
like juice, it is best to consume it IMMEDIATELY; or else what you
consume of it later will have a LOT LESS energy in it.

... I've tried the low RPM juicers - and the blenders. Low RPM juicers seem to produce what is the best result - but blenders are not a complete waste of time...
