As a practising doctor, I believe wheatgrass to be medically
important, hence my joining this group in anticipation of dialogue
with other interested persons. In fact I have used wheatgrass
successfully in my clinic on thousands of patients over the past 9
years. Of course, it does not always work, but it often contributes
significantly to the patients' quality of life. The most important
feature from my point of view apart from its efficacy, is its safety.
Because of my broad experience with wheatgrass, (I don't use fresh
juice but a specially prepared stable extract), I have come to
believe that it acts basically as a topical (and systemic)
immunomodulator. In other words it has a tendency to "normalise"
damaged tissue. I also believe that underpinning the therapeutic
efficacy of wheatgrass is the Grass Juice Factor - a factor that has
yet to be isolated.
I have a website (non-commercial) devoted to the therapeutic and
theoretical aspects of wheatgrass that members of this group may
wish to visit. I talk about using wheatgrass for eczema, psoriasis,
alopecia areata and many other medical conditions. The link is:

Hope you find it interesting.
