Re: [wheatgrass] Back to Basics juicer - HELP!

Hi Jim,

I'm a newbie too. But I can share some experiences we've had with a juicer we
just bought.
After some weeks of checking around we bought a Samson 6 in 1 juicer. It isn't
exclusively for wheatgrass but my wife and I are really impressed with the
amount of wheat grass we get and for the ease of cleaning which is only a few
minutes at most. A friend of ours have a Greenstar juicer and she says that she
gets about 16oz of wheatgrass per tray that we order from our local health food
store. So far with about 1/4 of our tray left we seem to have extracted about
21-23oz. Our measurments arent quite accurate as I've made two juices for my
wife that was a mix of wheatgrass w/other juices. So I'm guessing based on the
handful size I get when juicing wheatgrass alone. Also, I can only verify the
amount our friend gets with the greenstar based on her feedback. so, not trying
to cast any dispersions on such a great product.

As I mentioned I'm real pleased with the juicer's ease of cleaning as knowing
myself, I would end up not juicing if it was an ordeal to clean. Were cleaning
not an issue we might have gotten something like the greenstar or samson's
upgraded model which seems similar.

The only drawback we can find after 5 days of use is that sometimes when juicing
large amounts some of the pulpy stuff gets pushed thru.

I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for but at $239 it seems like a
good buy and it seems great with wheatgrass.

Certainly the more experienced juicers on the list will know more about what may
work best for you. Hope this is helpful.

I just joined the list. Hoping to learn alot.

Sincerely,
Keith
