agree the last 11 days have been great, not worried if he will show up or
wander here or there etc etc..The district attorney said today, that they didn't
suggest me dropping the charges, the DA still has to consider it? They usually
don't take alcohol cases and treat them as a mental health issue, so I'm hoping
they will force a probation period on him forcing detox, rehab and etc..and
mental evaluation most of all to see where he really is mentally that is the
answer we need to know ,,will he be able to care for self or will he need to be
cared for? and we cant make that decision until he is evaluated, and he cant get
evaluated until the police send in the paper work and the dad reviews it..this
could take weeks before we know..and he will have to stay in jail until then
unless someone ends up bailing him out and hopefully no one will..he will be a
danger all over again to self.espaecially..I don't see anyone bailing him out
this time..anyway,..so we have to wait and clear the legal end before we can
even consider the medical end. I know jails are equipped to treat him for
detoxing, but I really don't they care enough to get him on the needed vitamins
and thiamine etc his body requires..so how do I go about getting that? doe she
have to have IV fluids to get that or does it have to be prescribed?? whats will
happen if he isn't getting any, ?? The nurse in the jail said he isn't getting
vitamins..they don't care about that its jail.
