I've wondered if anyone has tried videotaping their family members
with clear signs of WKS and then showing the videos to them later to
help them understand the difference in their behavior. This wouldn't
be easy to do, and people already have their hands full, but it might
be achievable.

Seeing a video of themselves walking abnormally or looking confused
*might* really bring it home to them what the alcohol is doing to
them. It would also be interesting to videotape them answering mental
status exams.

Finally, having proof of the abnormal behavior might be useful for
other purposes down the road, though the videos would need to respect
the interests of the person as much as possible.
