Things have been very quiet recently on the board. Just wanted to say
hello!
Things quiet with me too. (on the dad front that is). Dad doesn't say
much at all now, don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing.
Things have really settled down now but he rarely wants to come out of
bed. Is this a natural progression of the illness, does anyone know?
Think he might be slightly depressed but the home are afraid to
increase his medication as it may increase his aggitation and he won't
be able to settle.
His long term carer has had a heart attack and has had to leave her
job, feel a bit sad as i felt she really cared for him. His new carer
is ok and at least she has been there for a long time and knows him
quite well.
Things on the home front not so good, my six year old son has just
been diagnosed with autism, and have just found out that my father in
law has throat cancer. Life, one minuite you are up then you are
down. So that's another help group i'll need to join (lol).
Just got to get on with things though but at least dad is ok and don't
have to worry too much about him just now.
Take care all
Thinking of you all
