Candy’s beliefs are deeply rooted in the philosophy that we are our own best doctors and that self-education and developing an awareness of our own functions are indispensable tools with which to make decisions regarding our health and empower ourselves against the onset of disease.

Candy Petronia has been a holistic health practitioner since 1986, and is certified in acupressure, reflexology, aromatherapy, neuro-linguistic programming and energy work. She has studied and practiced many aspects of well-being including parasite cleansing, blood typing and what we need to understand about the body’s absorption of vitamins and minerals.

The Wellness Connection is a group of professionals dedicated to the pursuit of wellness in their professional and personal lives.  A monthly presentation will be held highlighting a practitioner’s area of expertise while other wellness caregivers will be on hand with information about who they are and what they do.  Anyone wishing to join the group is most welcome. The Wellness Connection is compiling a database of wellness practitioners as a networking service to the greater Athens community.
