Aromatherapy can be an alternative choice of treatment for many common health problems and can be used in a simple and effective way to protect and maintain our overall health. Essential oils are readily available and amazingly simple to use.

This will be a practical workshop where I will introduce some of the most important essential oils and demonstrate how to use them.

Safety rules

Everyday remedies – an introduction to the most useful essential oils

How to dilute the oils.

Massage demonstration (volunteer needed!)

Recipes

How to use in baths.

How to make and use compresses.

How to use in steam inhalations.

How to create room fresheners.

How to use in domestic cleaning.

Alice Bell was born in London and has a degree from the University of Oxford (1986-1989. She completed a course of study from the London School of Aromatherapy (1993-1995) and has worked as a qualified Aromatherapist since that time.  To this she added qualifications in Reiki in 1994 and 1996, Rejuvance in 2000 and The Bowen Technique (Bowtech) in 2001   She has worked at the Illlium Centre, Kolonaki and Cocoon Urban Spa, Agia Paraskevi and is a Holistic Beauty Consultant for Jurlique. She has given classes and talks by invitation in England and in Greece and demonstrations on television . 

The Wellness Connection is a group of professionals dedicated to the pursuit of wellness in their professional and personal lives.  A monthly presentation will be held highlighting a practitioner’s area of expertise while other wellness caregivers will be on hand with information about who they are and what they do.  Anyone wishing to join the group is most welcome. The Wellness Connection is compiling a database of wellness practitioners as a networking service to the greater Athens community.
