Well Linda, I'm not sure at this very point & time what I am an inspiration for or who to. I have so so much to be grateful for, happy for & with, yet I'm hurting, filled with sadness, angry & about to tell the whole world to kiss my a**. I'll get over it sooner or later, it will pass...I just truly don't recall it ever being quite this intense. One day or for days...I'm empowered, trusting an almighty H.P., etc. etc. then I fall into a pit of emotional muck. I feel like Grace shared when she talked, if people keep telling me Let Go Let God, Pray, I'll pray for you, go to Meetings, Remember your not alone, Cry, Scream, Reach out, Write, Talk, Call your sponsor, whatever else...I'm going to punch em' (i likely will refrain from that,(s**t, that's all i'd need is an assault charge to deal with...yeesh) or verbally attact them (s**t, better be careful there too, slander could be an offense
too!) lol Oh dear god I'm a mess. Yes I am human. Through the pain, sorrow, anger is the touchstone of healing, forgiving, loving, being forgiven, being loved, the promises & so on, & so on. So...something is telling me, keep my big mouth shut & my typing fingers at bay. It is frustrating though & hurts the very core of my mind, body, & soul. I can't or won't Quit right now. JCSS, (figure that one out) am I seeing how powerless I am over this addiction & my life is unmanageable. Maybe tomorrow, maybe the next day??? I'm leaving it to my H.P. I've worked through much over the years...coming up on 14 yrs. sobriety if I don't die or do something stupid like get drunk. I'll tell you, some stuff is coming to my attention & I'm not particually enjoying it. And some things I've worked on through before...and I've heard this
before from others that they get to deal with & work on some things again, btdt myself...get to again as it's on ongoing process...some of that old stuff is creaping back in on me & tying into these new awarenesses surfacing. And dear god I have 2 little granddaughters to help take care of for a few months or so. So I pray for my H.P. to do help me do what I cannot for myself & the strength I need & continued hope I hold onto.
Thank you Linda. And everyone here.
I wish you the best in continued freedom from the bondage of nicotine.

Voices of Nicotine Recovery 9pm est Study Meeting w/Aimee
Monday February 28, 2005 9:00 pm
- 10:00 pm
This event repeats every week.
Notes:
this is a nicotine anonymous 12 step meeting for those who wish to use the 12 steps to stop smoking. not necessary to have quit, we welcome all who have the desire to quit!! this meeting has alternating chairpersons every month........let us know if your interested:)
I want everyone to know I used all of the stories I gathered from
over here a month ago and they'll come out in the March issue.
Any I've recently collected will come out next issue.
Also if someone could write me up the story about "Voices of Recovery"
I'll use it in the next issue along with your link.
I was told this morning to stay away from mentions of the tobacco
companies because it goes against Tradition. It's an outside issue.
What I'm looking for is art, cartoons, smoking jokes, stories and
articles.
If you don't think you are good at writing it will be edited for
grammar, spelling and so forth and I'll keep your voice.
Sharing experience, strength and hope is what I'm looking for in the
stories, keeping it in the "I" character.
Take a look at this coming up issue and you'll see the stories the
Tradition Board gave an okay on.
Hope to hear from you.
Susan
Hi rich z;I’m wondering if you might have
spoken at a meeting for Unofficialnicanon one time, if that was you I enjoyed
your talk.I would also love to invite
you to come and speak at one of our voices of nicotine recovery speaker
meetings.they
are at 9pm eastern time Saturday night.that would be very much appreciated.
As for the conference I do believe one of
our members is going to attend and hopefully distribute some flyers regarding
our group.at
the current time we are working at getting the word to the face to face
meetings in north AmericaJ….Right now it is the ones who have web
pages.Then a
member said that wso sends out flyers twice a year so
hopefully we will get a flyer to them which they can send out to all the
groups.Any information you might have
regarding this pi, we would be grateful to hear.Realize you’re probably a busy person,
but still askJ….
We also have some cards that members are
getting to the appropriate people in getting the word out that there is
help!!!most of
us don’t have f2f meetings to attend, but that may change also in
time.
Well just thought I would let you know what
we are doing on the public information level. Most of us very desiring to get the word out as this
online nica has literally saved 100’s of lives and we would like to turn
that into thousands….me I’m much indebt to nicotine anonymous, it
has rescued me from an early grave.
Thanks for the information and lovely
invite.Hope the convention is all you
wish it to be and more.your friend in recovery…..roz/rhoskie67501@...

[voicesofnicotinerecovery] Nicotine Anonymous WSC XX May 6-8 2005 AtlantaGa.
I would like to foward this invite to all who wish
to find spirituality, serenity and growth within Nicotine
Anonymous.
Hello My name is Rich Z and I am powerless over
Nicotine. I would like to welcome you on behalf of Ganica (Georgia
Nicotine Anonymous Intergroup www.GaNicA.org ), and the 20th-
Nicotine Anonymous World Services Conference (NAWSC) committee. We hope you will be visiting with us in Atlanta. We are gearing
up for a wonderful weekend fill with spirituality,
serenity and growth. What better way to enjoy your weekend than to invite
someone to travel with you? If you know of someone who is
contemplating coming to the conference, please encourage them. The conference kickoff on Friday will be one of
the best Gratitude meetings ever. Starting at 8pm and ending when the
very last person who wants to shares their gratitude. This meeting
is worth the trip in it self. When you listen to others share their
gratitude, you are drawn to share yours. It is always a great start
to the weekend. Saturday morning, you will get an update on the
activities of the fellowship and nominate individuals to represent
the fellowship for the next three (3) years. In the afternoon,
you will be able to join in on some discussions to help Nicotine Anonymous
grow. If participating in the business meetings is not your
thing, and need some recovery, then throughout the day, there will
be Marathon meetings on an hourly basis. During the evening,
we will be having our traditional banquet with 2 speakers who will not
only entertain you but also share their experience, strength and
hope. Once the banquet is over you can catch a marathon meeting or enjoy
the rest of the night on the town. Early Sunday is another Nicotine Anonymous
favorite. The Sunrise Meeting, usually too early for me, but I was told
it is the most spiritual meeting and something I should not miss.
So if you are awake, go see for yourself. Later in the morning
we will gather to vote on the issues that were discussed on
Saturday. While everyone can attend the voting session, only the registered
delegates are allowed to place a vote. Being a delegate is a very
important service to our fellowship which you can provide. Once all the
business has been accomplished we will get to savor the flavors of
the Sunday Spirituality Bunch. While you settle your appetite
at this breakfast buffet, we will have a speaker to fill you with
inspiration. What else could you ask for? After the business of the conference is completed,
we have a post conference trip which will be hosted by the GANICA
Intergroup of Atlanta. We are heading to the AtlantaHistoryCenter which is a short ride away but there are hundreds of other things
to do in Atlanta
so if you are interested in something specific
contact me and I will help you find your area of interest. Atlanta can be reached from most major airports at a cheap fare. Atlanta Transit (Marta $1.75) will get you from
the Hartsfield / JacksonAirport to the Sheraton Buckhead in about 30 minutes and without any transfers. Affordable, convenient and
Peachy Clean. What else could you ask for? So if you were not planning on attending I hope
we've changed your mind. If you are attending please be sure to send
in your registration form early, register as a delegate (if applicable)
and make your hotel reservations. (Sheraton Buckhead (404)261-9250 or
1-(800) 325-3535 be sure to mention Nicotine Anonymous.) Remember, if you have any questions or concerns
please contact me at RichieZNicA@... or http://conferencechair@... See you May 6th for Peachy Clean NAWSC XX.
Rich Z.

[voicesofnicotinerecovery] Re: Worldwide Anti-Tobacco Treaty Takes Effect
Hi Roz, Greg, everyone else
I just wanted to add something here...I really
enjoyed reading about your ideas for outreach. It's awesome that you
want to get the word out about these online meetings!
I am not sure if you are all aware of the Outreach
Grant that Nic-A World Services offers to groups. You may be able
to get reimbursed up to $500.00 for your outreach project. It can cover
the cost of printing, mailing, envelopes, etc. This is World
Service's way of encouraging people in the fellowship to do
outreach.
If you want to use your own money, that's great
too. But if you are like me and don't have alot of money to spare then
you may want to try this :-)
If you want to apply for the outreach grant then
you have to fill out a form and get it approved by the proper World
Service people. Once you are approved then you just save your receipts
and send them in when you are done and they send you a check.
Details are at http://www.nicotine-anonymous.org/outreach.asp
Also, World Services does a mailing to groups and
intergroups twice a year. Maybe if someone made a flyer about the
online meetings they would include it in their mailing. It would also
be great to have flyers at the upcoming World Service Conference in
Georgia.
Let me know if I can help! -Kelly

Hi Roz, Greg, everyone else
I just wanted to add something here...I really enjoyed reading about
your ideas for outreach. It's awesome that you want to get the word
out about these online meetings!
I am not sure if you are all aware of the Outreach Grant that Nic-A
World Services offers to groups. You may be able to get reimbursed up
to $500.00 for your outreach project. It can cover the cost of
printing, mailing, envelopes, etc. This is World Service's way of
encouraging people in the fellowship to do outreach.
If you want to use your own money, that's great too. But if you are
like me and don't have alot of money to spare then you may want to
try this :-)
If you want to apply for the outreach grant then you have to fill out
a form and get it approved by the proper World Service people. Once
you are approved then you just save your receipts and send them in
when you are done and they send you a check. Details are at
http://www.nicotine-anonymous.org/outreach.asp
Also, World Services does a mailing to groups and intergroups twice a
year. Maybe if someone made a flyer about the online meetings they
would include it in their mailing. It would also be great to have
flyers at the upcoming World Service Conference in Georgia.
Let me know if I can help!

I would like to foward this invite to all who wish to find
spirituality, serenity and growth within Nicotine Anonymous.
Hello My name is Rich Z and I am powerless over Nicotine. I would like
to welcome you on behalf of Ganica (Georgia Nicotine Anonymous
Intergroup www.GaNicA.org ), and the 20th- Nicotine Anonymous World
Services Conference (NAWSC) committee.
We hope you will be visiting with us in Atlanta. We are gearing up for
a wonderful weekend fill with spirituality, serenity and growth. What
better way to enjoy your weekend than to invite someone to travel with
you? If you know of someone who is contemplating coming to the
conference, please encourage them.
The conference kickoff on Friday will be one of the best Gratitude
meetings ever. Starting at 8pm and ending when the very last person
who wants to shares their gratitude. This meeting is worth the trip in
it self. When you listen to others share their gratitude, you are
drawn to share yours. It is always a great start to the weekend.
Saturday morning, you will get an update on the activities of the
fellowship and nominate individuals to represent the fellowship for
the next three (3) years. In the afternoon, you will be able to join
in on some discussions to help Nicotine Anonymous grow. If
participating in the business meetings is not your thing, and need
some recovery, then throughout the day, there will be Marathon
meetings on an hourly basis. During the evening, we will be having our
traditional banquet with 2 speakers who will not only entertain you
but also share their experience, strength and hope. Once the banquet
is over you can catch a marathon meeting or enjoy the rest of the
night on the town.
Early Sunday is another Nicotine Anonymous favorite. The Sunrise
Meeting, usually too early for me, but I was told it is the most
spiritual meeting and something I should not miss. So if you are
awake, go see for yourself. Later in the morning we will gather to
vote on the issues that were discussed on Saturday. While everyone can
attend the voting session, only the registered delegates are allowed
to place a vote. Being a delegate is a very important service to our
fellowship which you can provide. Once all the business has been
accomplished we will get to savor the flavors of the Sunday
Spirituality Bunch. While you settle your appetite at this breakfast
buffet, we will have a speaker to fill you with inspiration. What else
could you ask for?
After the business of the conference is completed, we have a post
conference trip which will be hosted by the GANICA Intergroup of
Atlanta. We are heading to the Atlanta History Center which is a short
ride away but there are hundreds of other things to do in Atlanta so
if you are interested in something specific contact me and I will help
you find your area of interest.
Atlanta can be reached from most major airports at a cheap fare.
Atlanta Transit (Marta $1.75) will get you from the Hartsfield /
Jackson Airport to the Sheraton Buckhead in about 30 minutes and
without any transfers. Affordable, convenient and Peachy Clean. What
else could you ask for?
So if you were not planning on attending I hope we've changed your
mind. If you are attending please be sure to send in your registration
form early, register as a delegate (if applicable) and make your hotel
reservations. (Sheraton Buckhead (404)261-9250 or 1-(800) 325-3535 be
sure to mention Nicotine Anonymous.)
Remember, if you have any questions or concerns please contact me at
RichieZNicA@... or http://conferencechair@nicotine-anonymous.org
See you May 6th for Peachy Clean NAWSC XX.
Rich Z.
